RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em
I was wondering would you guys recommend, the HPI F10 , or the Tamiya f104 for a first time on roader. I have a slash 4x4 and a slash 2wd before that,so i am not a total newb to rc. Or would you recommend to get a sedan type car first then once my skills are better then get the HPI F10 or tamiya? What would you recommend? I was thinking about the kyosho tf-5s. I will be not racing in the foreseeable future. Thank You D

RE: New Tamiya FF03 chassis
I was wondering would this motor be to much for the ff03 pro, the Castle Creations 1/10 Sidewinder Sport ESC + 5700 kV or should I get the 4600. I was also thinking this is basically a direct drive car but it is in the front instead of the back so it should still be quick. I was also wondering would the hpi xpattern tires fit the rims that come with it? I was also thinkng about using a vxl esc and motor, would that fit?

hpi sprint 2 flux or Tamiya df03 ra
I need help in deciding which one i should get. I like the flux mainly because it come with brushless. The df 03 ra I like because I have the ability to go on road and off road decently and it s cheaper and I figure I can upgrade to brushless later. I am not a hard core racer. The closes onroad track is about 25 minutes away. But Off road is about 45 to an hour away. But with my schedule it might as well be hours away for both of them. So it will be for bashing dirt fields and parking lot fun. Part of me just wants to do the flux since I already have a Slash. So I have a off road vehicle and a on road vehicle. The Df03 ra I like because like rallying a lot. Is there any major difference between the flux and the sprint 2 outside of the motor? Thank you D

RE: RC Bike Racing in Nor Cal
I have put locktite on everything. This bike is starting to get real frustrating mainly with it having some problem or another since i bought it. I had to send in the esc because it wasn't working right when I brought it. The pinion gear keeps coming off with loctite so since it came off it messed up the gear. I haven't road a battery until it is dead since I bought it because something goes wrong. the grub screw come loose, the pinion gear comes off. Then it frustrating how soft the grub screws and the regular screws are, I have stripped a couple. So I plan to order a new hardware kit for the bike, gear, and pinion and give it the old college try again. I understand you have to fix stuff in the rc world but it seems like to much trouble. I know knowing how to drive it has some what of a learning curve which makes it fun. I love my slash i so far only broke one thing a shock. Other wise I think it is a great looking bike, great design and all. It starts to get too frustrating I am going to sell it for 120 with 1 battery, a hardware set of all the screws, new pinion gear and a new spur gear, and a wall charger Or 100 just the bike. The body has been cut do to what everybody recommend for better running. Thank you for hearing my vent.

Radio for Venom bike that will let you use the front brake kit.
I was wondering what radio would you guys recommend that is $120 (2.4ghz)or less that can let me use the front brake kit on the venom bike? This one of the future upgrades I plan to get for my venom. I also need it for my slash. So basically I am looking for a radio that can control both of my vehicles and also let me control the front brake kit from venom. I was looking at the spektrum DX3E is that capable?
