RE: Aquacraft Revolt 30
you go out on your first run, Lipo's are shipped at approx 50% charge (called storage charge... and %. Another way to do it is if you know how much the setup can pull in Amps, do the math. Dan.

RE: miss bud wont run
no, the flywheel is on so tight that it would not free spin. However it would have moved enough to get the timing off. Remove the nut for the flywheel and use a puller to remove it, if the key is still there not broken than its something else. Like mentioned before, key is a lot cheaper than a coil. Dan.

RE: Brushless upgrade...
The guys are asking legitimate questions. Boats vary in size anywhere from 14 inches to 10 feet in length, with different hull type - Deep Vee, Hydro's, Cat, rigger etc. That would make a list pretty much impossible to produce, there are way to many variables. Give them something to work with. Dan.

RE: outrigger help
To further expand on Ron's comments, if you can posts some pics, that would help quite a bit. most riggers need more than just have the sponsons tubes even, most set up will require some toe in/or out and some shimming may be needed to have one side a bit higher than the other. knowing exactly which rigger you have will help getting you the correct setup. Dan.

RE: Probat mystic 29
put the batteries where they are suppose to go, set your strut the recommended hight and make sure you don't give it any positive angle. lowering or raising the strut will adjust how wet or loose the hull is, prop angle will push the nose up or down. you most likely have to much positive. Dan.

Does the stuffing tube seems to be kinda squished? Looks like it in the pic, could be an illusion from the pic. This is the one you ordered correct? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXSD9&P=7 do you still have the old one or is it gone? if you do compare the two of them. Dan.

Jackal, your 6717/3 has 67mm diameter, 1.7 pitch ratio 67 x 1.7 = 113.9mm of pitch or 4.48 inch of pitch. your 7015/3 has 70mm Dia, 1.5 pitch ratio 105mm of pitch or 4.13inch of pitch. Darn it, Hendrix beat me to it, I'm slow at typing. lol Dan.

RE: FLYWHEEL Zenoa 26cc engine question
no, never rev to full throttle on land regardless if dry or water running. if you have vibrations, prop may need balancing. without a clutch you can't idle still on the water, period. No flywheel???? they all use flywheel water cooled or not. if you want to be able to idle pretty on the water you will need to install a clutch, you will also need to put a water pump. Dan.

although the equivalent HK motor was not used to compare with the Leopard motor, I still believe that some very nice work and effort was put into this thread. Von Ohain, if you can get your hands on this motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=17701, more than likely that one would be an exact equivalent to the Leopard used. I don't believe that an inexpensive turbine exist. The turbine is coupled to a gearbox, the prop cable/shaft goes to an output shaft at the gearbox. Unfortunately the pictures I have found are from a site that we are not allowed to post. Dan
