RE: adding subs in the 06 corolla
thanks associted driver for the capacitor tip. also i never thought of taking the box apart to check the subs [&:] oh, and i tried using the multimeter. one of the subs read 2 ohms, and another around 1.5 ohms (i m pretty sure im doing it right) so im guessing the subs are @ 2ohms. also so the link i gave in my previous post should do it.....? thanks again for ur guys input.

adding subs in the 06 corolla
Hey all, i received from a friend of mine (who couldnt help me) two 10" subwoofers. unknown brand. only info was on the box: "300 watt Blasters - Made in USA" (im guessing each sub is 150watts, both add up to 300 watts) i dont know is the ohm of the subs, too i need some help finding an amp, and possibly a new head unit. with the amp, im not quite sure if i should get a mono, 2, or 4 channel amp. and also for the new head unit, im completely lost. im new to this stuff. this is going in an 06 corolla, factory speakers/head unit etc. thanks pics: [image]http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs106.snc1/4785_1166203388709_1036625663_30535542_2944328_n.jpg[/image]. Help me ID this car (pics inside)
I got this car from a friend who got it from his neighbor. Im guessing its a Thunder Tiger because the engine that came with says its from Thunder Tiger... (btw, the Traxxas 3.3 engine is mine, as well as all the tires) i really want to make this run also, this car has ball diffs, universal/dog joint, adjustable camber and toe, and i *think* it has fiberglass disk brake (plastic - ish white ish - translucent material) pretty nice imo. RE: Picco .26 for Revo 3.3 question
read the official picco. 26 maxx thread....search and youll find it... but to save you some time, no, the picco is not direct drop in...it requires an Ofna mount, or you can use the traxxas mount, i believe or, the best mount is to use the Qoncepts mount. flywheel clutch etc can be used on the picco. TRX pullstart and EZ-start, i think, will also fit on the picco. good luck

RE: Nimh charger for Lipo
ORIGINAL: racerj3 Yeah for lipos you'll definately need a charger that can do cc/cv. As far as the 'automated current" thing what that is, is the charger will decide how much current to put into the battery. For instance if you tell the charger to charge at 4 amps it may not charge 4 amps, instead it may do like 2 amps, or even less than 1 amp depending on what the charger senses is coming from the battery. Chargers like the Team Checkpoint TC-1030, and its clone's do the same thing.
soo the charger will know not to over dose the current? thanks guver and all of you guys for helping me out!
