RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I was going to post you some links but the site was down... anyway check out Hobbyking....they have a good inexpensive charger Turnigy Accucel 6 and also Zippy packs are popular in these trucks and inexpensive as well they are a 2s 4000mah 25c hard case. Good luck! and to whoever asked stock setups do pull wheelies with a lipo anyway :)

For your first lipos Try some Zippy packs from hobby king. Best 20 bucks you will spend in this hobby. [link=http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8357&Product_Name=ZIPPY_Flightmax_4000mAh_2S1P_25C_Car_Lipoly]Zippy pack[/link]

if you have an air compressor you can blow a lot of stuff off. if you want the plastic to look new try some wd-40. try to wipe it dry before you drive the truck again. goodluck

Nitro- I had use some spacers on the rear body mount to push it back away from the shock towers and lower them down. But otherwise it fit well :) Oh I did have to trim the front down some too. The boats look fun but I don't have enough water near me :(

Paron - the white does grow on ya :) Red - when you bought your 2.8 wheels/tires did you get them for the rear of the e rustler or front of the e rustler? I know the offsets are different and Nitro's had a narrow stance...I wanna try some 2.8s too. Thanks

Nitro- Yes it is. haha Paron- what color are you going to dye the white? I have done some other white RC parts. It is easy to do and works really well. can't wait to see what you do.

Peloche- the bodies made to fit the Associated T4 will fit the EFS you just have to move the rear body posts back a little bit. I used the Proline Bulldog body on mine.

maybe it is a typo? Did you try running the lipo and just checking the temp? It is 3cell ready out of the box.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I assume it means set that cutoff. As long as you have done that, you can run the Lipo. I helped a friend set up his new flux e firestorm and that is all we did. It is the stock ESC and you can run 2 or 3 cell with it. Enjoy

Those extensions look nice. So you are just looking to lengthen and widen the stance of the storm? that should do it. Also blitz roller are fairly cheap on Ebay :)

sorry I assumed the 17mm adapters were for the 1/8 scale buggy wheels..... the badlands on 2.8s make for a big burly wheel and tire.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
Nitro so you are talking about the metal hex hub thingies...try the traxxas ones they are plastic and snap onto the pin that goes through the axle. I have a black set and a grey set that is wider and pushes the wheels out a little....if we are talking about the same thing.
