RE: High Voltage ESC's
Tom, I have used both the Sentillion 100 and Castle HV110. I like both of them, but I don't push either one of them very hard. My setups tend to be over designed as far as the ESC is concerned. With the Sentillion be sure to get the programer card for $7. It is a no brainer and really makes setup easy. I have only used it on 10s but I hear that 12s is just as good. The Castle 110 is great and can really be pushed hard. I have used it on 12s and it will easily handle 110 Amps. I have two of these and have never had any trouble with them. I wish that they would make a higher voltage model available.

Has anyone tried the Xoar props in the larger sizes. I'm looking at the 22x10E and was wondering how it would compare with APC and Mejzlik? Thanks, Darrell B.

RE: Rhino Lithium Batteries
I don't think that the Rhino packs are just relabled cells. Especially the larger 4900mAh cells. I have noticed that several of the manufacturers in the states are still stacking smaller cells to come up with the larger acpacity packs. 2p 3p 4p.....I have owned several of these, and if one cell goes bad the whole pack is bad. I think that with fewer cells that there is less to go wrong. Just my 2c worth.

Peder F, Judging from your last post this project wouldn't be any more difficult than the Bell P-39 that I am finishing up for this spring. It has taken me almost two years but the results will be very satisfying. Darrell B.

Hello to all who have been folowing this thread. I thought that I would post a few progress pics of the Pepino P-39. They are in progressive order of how the changes progressed in the build. Most of the current progress has occured in the last two months. I still need to build a vacuum box and pull a canope!

Here are a few quick pics of my Jim Pepino P-39 that I am finishing up this winter for next spring. 80 inch wing with an AXI 5345/14 outrunner turning a 20x12 prop on 12s lipos. I'm still finishing up the covering, ailerons, flaps, ets. I still need to pull a canope![:o]

Has anyone tried any of the 4 blade props from Zinger? They look like they would work well and weigh much less than the Solo props. The only down side is that you have to choose which pitch you want, and can't just change it at will? Thanks, Darrell B.

RE: CMP Kits – Problems and Solutions
I have the CMP AT-6 Texan, and am concerned about the elevator linkages that came with it. Has anyone had problems with flutter on the elevator using the linkages that came with the kit? What are some of the sloutions to solve this problem. I am hesitant to fly this plane like it is, and don't want to put it in on the first flight due to a flutter problem. Thanks, Darrell B

Ed, The AXI 5345 motors are made by Model Motors. Here is a link to their website.. http://www.modelmotors.cz/index.php?page=60&kategorie=5345 Just click on the motor that you would be interested in looking at, or go back to their main page to check out the other motors that they make. AXi motors have been the industry standard for outrunners for several years now. Darrell B
