RE: Pro-Link Nano Install Info
Gruntled. Yes you do have to Dremmel out some hardwood if the nipple is on the side. I just kept taking small bits out until it fitted ok and did not interfere with the air line. Had loads of flights and had no problems. These new units would make life a lot easier though, and they look great.

RE: Boomerang Jets at the 2nd Int'l German Championships in Formation Flying with Model Jets 2011
The question is Colin.. Miller or Bugz? Do we ned to be afraid...... or very afraid? Ali Myself and Colin did actually have a bit of secret training prior to the Formation cup, but Colin got carried away a bit and nearly took the ole Nano out. [:D]Greatfun, but hard to do well. Perhaps me and Colin next year with Mr Miller as spotter?[;)]

RE: Boomerang Nano!!!
Mike I put the 50 oz Dubro in mine and did not find any issues with fit, HOWEVER the canopy does need a little jigging and filing out the holes to get it to fit. Some one also suggested a small amount of vaseline on the fastereners [metal bits on canopy] and can vouch that this made slipping on and off a lot easier. I did have to remove a small amount of former from the front of the canopy where the overflow pipe comes out? but as for the actual tank fit no issues. If you check out post 1080 pg 44 it shows DW install and mine is virtually the same [i think he copied me][;)][:D]

RE: want to buy a turbine jet
My two bobs worth. I started in turbines early last year with a second hand Classic COMP ARF Flash, a really great flying jet. Our club Phoenix mfc we also fly off grass wider and longer. THe Flash gets in and out No problem. I have just purchased a Boomerang Nano with a P60 and it is one great flying jet, it is a pleasure to fly and slows down to no speed at all. Your strip looks quite tight, listen to the advice given as jets are expensive and if they get damaged or destroyed and you can end up not enjoying flying anymore. I keep my Flash for tarmac and the Nano for grass. I flew today and it was a great day blue sky and no wind. The Nano landed where i wanted every time. One guy with us had his Turbo Raven, would not slow down and ended up off the end of the patch completely taking out the whole undercarriage section. Enjoy turbines if you get into them, there very addictive.

RE: Phoenix MFC jet fest (N London)
Another good day. Simon your not having another one of your strange thoughts again are you,[;)] your face says it all. DW that UF is seriously quick and smooth, but slows down to walking pace. Colin Tucano with the different prop sounds and flys spot on, great plane. DW i see you used some of my pictures i took, more luck than judgement.

RE: Phoenix MFC jet fest (N London)
Dave. It was a great day[:D] except for my Foamie Habu incident oops, [&o]can i pick an airframe only up in the week please. Thanks for your help and your settings, the Nano is a genuinely very nice flying jet turbine that will do as much as your thumbs allow. I honestly am surprised how nice it is to fly, [ obviously the good set up ].[;)]

RE: Boomerang Nano - Complete build thread
Trevor. I ended up getting the Nano, as i was also looking at a p20 model. The sticker pack makes it look really good. Were gonna have to have a mass Boomerang day at Phoenix when the rain stops. Was really pleasesd with the quality and how relatively easy it all went together. Dave, i did print off your picture of your install and kept making sure i was going in the right direction.
