RE: Test flight of JetLegend 1/4 YAK130
Hey Fender, Check with Global Jet Club, I think that once this plane is released, they (Global) might be able to paint the plane in the color of your choice. This plane is also on my radar, just waiting for information on pricing. [8D]

RE: Since getting into this hobby, whats been the biggest leap forward you have seen in this hobby?
Affordable turbine engines and radial-petro power engines with plenty of power to fly the really large airframes (50+pounds)

Are the wing tubes hollow or solid carbon rods? Can you show pictures of the servo install and control mechanism for the rudder? What will be the price of the model with retracts, fuel cells, and pipe?

RE: FLY EAGLE JET models 2012
Hey James, Any chance of changing the rudder on the large F-16 making the control mechanism similar to that found on the large J-10? It would certainly make removing the vertical fin for transportation much simpler.
ORIGINAL: Perry S. Maybe spelling is not all it's cracked up to be. It's amazing how complex the human mind is and it's ability to decipher text to convey meanings. The excerpt below is from a recent study. In a nutshell it shows that what's important is the first and last letter of a word. The letters in between can be jumbled. See if you can quickly read through this. I was amazed that I could make it through at about 3/4 reading speed. <span style=''font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; background-color: rgb(231, 234, 239); ''>if yuo can raed tihs, you hvae a sgtrane mnid, too. <br style=''font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; background-color: rgb(231, 234, 239); '' /><span style=''font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; background-color: rgb(231, 234, 239); ''>Can you raed tihs? However, I must admit that the total command of the English language, particularly in its written form, has absolutely nothing to do with the enjoyment of the hobby. Personally, I do appreciate others sharing their experiences and expertise with various products on the market today to which I might have some interest. So I would encourage all, regardless of their command of the written language, to continue posting and sharing their affection of the hobby. [8D]

Hey Glenn, Bowling Green on Monday, sounds like a good idea. I am putting the finishing touches on the F-5e and should have it ready for a maiden flight. This one will not break apart in mid-flight, LOL.[8D]
ORIGINAL: shepp As Randy said , there are several pilots in the Nashville area, that will be glad to help you out. Several get together in my shop on Wednesday nights to build, repair, lie, etc. It would be about an hour drive from Clarksville . Send me a pm when you get back to the states. Shepp
Hey Shepp, Maybe we can all get together with Julian and have a jet fun fly.
ORIGINAL: Randy M. one in clarksville that I know of but works away most of the time. There are several of us in and around nashville. we fly some jets at our home field in madison tn. (400ft runway) when we want to fly the good stuff, we go to Bowling Green KY. (800ft runway) come visit anytime
Peeler Park in Madison is definitely a good place for some jet flying, and practicing your tree climbing technique.[8D]

RE: Giant Scale Flying Fields, Nashville, TN?
Peeler Park in Madison, is as good as it gets. The flying site is not too busy, so you can get as much flying done as you would like. Also, the people/flyers are a great bunch of guys. Let me know when you are coming, and I'll bring out my old-beat up 1/4 scale Corsair and fly with you. COME AND JOIN US! [8D]

RE: WHY GO EDF IF YOU HAVE TURBINES?
Still on the cheap side of the edfs, but enjoy the simplicity of popping in a battery and satisfying that urge. May eventually get a higher performing edf, but don't see giving up the turbine power/sound anything soon. I love it all, and I want it all. [8D]

RE: BAE Hawk vs F-16 (fun poll)
This is my large Hawk 100. Unfortunately my 1/6 scale F-16 lost an argument with a tree, but just ordered a larger scale F-16 as a replacement. Really like both airframes.[8D]

RE: Engine for Comp Arf P-47
I had a Moki 250 for two years now, and I have not had any problems with it. Guess I must be lucky. The DA 150 would be a good alternate, but the sound just doesn't compare to that of a radial engine. [8D]
