I am confused about the the elevator. The manual states: "Elevator- 3/4 inch up 3/4 inch down *** The elevator is neutral when the top of the elevator is flush with the top of the stabilizer****..." Can someone clarify. Pictures would be great!!! David

RE: C-ARF Flash Build Thread for All Flash's being built this winter
I am having problem setting up the crow on my Flash. The probplem is on deflecting with full flaps, the crow travels as slow as the flaps but rapidly returns to neutral once the switch is in take off position. Should the ailerons return to neutral slowly as the falps? I can imagine the nose will drop violently with this kind of erractic behavior. I have the JR 12X and have spent several hours without luck. Wish some one will show me how!!! My flaps is programed for 2s delay. Here is what I based my set up on: [quote] OK, mission complete. I am going to write down how I did, what I did to activate the crow. First a BIG "THANK YOU" to Bob for taking the time to call me and walk me through it. He gave me the one piece of information I was missing. Ok, here we go. I am going to start with setting up a brand new model. 1) Enter System Menu (hold "ENT" and turn readio on). You should know how to set up the Model Name and Type Select. 2) Under "DeviceSel", select "Flight Mode" and then selct "Flap SW". 3) I have the following switches activated: Gear - Act, Flap - Sys., Aux2 - Inh, Aux3 - Act (brakes), Aux4 - Act (smoke and I have it using the "BUTN" switch. 4) Hit "List" 4) Now go to "Wing Type" 5) Wing type is set to "Normal" 6) Go to Dual - Aile and select "AUX2". This automaticall sets up Aux2 as your opposite aileron. 7) Now, hit "ENT" 8) Set up your "Flap Sys" to your desired settings. Adjust both your flaps and elevators to the desired throws. 9) Now, the only mix you have to do: Go to mix 1 or 2 (multi-point mixes), and set up a "Flap to FPRN" mix. The diagram on the right will show your flap and aileron (or flaperon) settings. The horizontal line is ailerons and the vertical line is flap position. As you adjust your flap switch, you will see the vertical line move across the diagram. Here are my settings for this mix: Point 0 -60 Point 1 INH Point 2 INH Point 3 0 Point 4 0 Point 5 0 Point 6 0 The -60 above shows how much aileron I have for my crow. I hope this helps a little for those trying to do this. It is hard to try and piece together pieces of information to do what you want. _____________________________ www.evoJetUSA.com U.S. Importer for ACT Europe Fuzzy Pro SMM Gyros U.S. Importer / Distributor for evoJet Booster Turbines U.S. Importer / Distributor Lambert Kolibri Nano-Turbines [End quote...] Regards, David Quy

RE: FLy Eagle Jet Models
Joe, The boat tank should fit in between the main tanks without any modification. On my Tam's, this tank wil empty first and no trim change through out the flight. 2 liters of fuel simply isn't enought for either the P60 or P70 (I measured the tanks and they are exactly 1000cc each). I have the P60 in my Tam's but the FEJ will have the P70 in the conventional location for mor power. Mr DJ, I use Troy Built Lithium Ion on all mine. I have a Duralite HD regulator with built in switch harness and a single 5200mA. For elevators, the 8611A fits perfectly in the cut outs and they are only 95 bucks at Troy Built, JR DS9411's for ailerons and a DS168 for rudder. Regards, David
