RE: *Help*Pusher Prop changed Tuning & will not run right-Is it a venturi sucking issue?
I have the same plane. I don't use a perry pump or a header tank. I use a simple setup as I do in every other plane I fly. Yes the tank needs to go with the connections forward. If you went with the factory settings on the engine then your probably not setup correctly. Those settings are made for a specific altitude which you are probably not at. Sounds to me like all you need to do is tune the engine with the prop on it you are going to use. Yes, long run times on a pusher will result in problems, they don't get the air flow from the prop as a pull type does. I use F plugs in mine because they are hotter. I've run two engines on this plane. An OS55AX, runs awesome, great performance. The other is a Dubb Jett 50. Definately goes faster with the Dubb. Dale

Need a manual for Byron Bonanza
I picked up a Byron Originals Bonanza at an auction a while ago and now that I'm attempting to get the thing together I find that the placement of the servo's is alluding me. If anyboyd has one, I'd love to get a copy or buy it off of ya. Even installation pics would be great. Iron bay seems impossible to contact. Thanks Dale

Anybody have a starboard (right side) wing. I bent mine up a little more than I should have. lol I'm in Canada but shipping wouldn't be much, it doesn't weight anything. Dale

BVM Smoothstop II problem
So, I figured I'd try one of the Smoothstop II's. The wheels on my Scorpion freewheel very well initially when the air line is removed from the valve. After reinstalling the air line to the system and using the brakes once, it refused to return to a freewheel. Its as though its not letting all the air out and is still holding at a minimal setting. Any ideas on how to solve this other than buying a Jettronic valve? Dale

Matchbox won't work
I have a Matchbox on a R955S Rx, running a 10x on 72mhz. I have another matchbox on another channel that works fine, this one won't work at all. I've tried it on 2 different channels (2-Ail, and 6-Aux1 Flaps) and the darn thing won't do anything. The light comes on the Matchbox and I'm using the provided connection to the Rx. Plugging the flap servo directly into the Rx (bypassing the matchbox) it works fine. Is this thing just toast or am I having a moment. Dale

RE: How many of you had more problems with a inverted 2-stroke in your ARF
Ya, I run inverted 2 and 4 strokes all the time. The only reason there is a problem with them is because they aren't tuned properly.

RE: Nitro models pusher Bobcat?
Flaperons actually caused me to crash. The plane stalled to the right more than once do to low speed and I'm thinking a slight aileron input. No biggy, it can be fixed but be very very cautious with this type of setup. Spoilerons work well but to be honest the plane lands fine without anything other than normal flight surfaces. Dale

RE: FEJ Customer Voting
F-104 Voodoo CF-100 Canuck F-5A Freedom Fighter Vampire Su-25 Frogfoot Mig-29 Su-27 I prefer 1/7th scale, but from what I've noticed, if you were to make two sizes, say a 1/7th and a 1/10 or 1/9th you would hit a larger part of the market. Dale

RE: Proper term for non-toy RC?
I personally don't tell anybody any different. I don't have time for those that think me childish, but I have all sorts of time for those that think it interesting. My friends all think its cool, and some have come out to see it, but most just shake there head at me, laugh, and then I throw a dart back at them about there 3500 dollar wheels they just put on there car. RE: Top Flite Sea Fury - Scale look vs sound
It might be just me, but every warbird that I've have/had, I really enjoyed a three blade prop on it. It causes more thrust and to me, it made the landing easier. You don't get the higher speed but man, it sure does have torque. Might be something to think about. I did have the TF concealed muffler setup with an OS91fx in a TF Mustang. Worked well. How about onboard glow, thats something, I'm just starting to work on. Dale

RE: Top Flite '.60 size' Mustang ARF: about the same price as the H-9, but far better?
I"m going with a RCV 120 in-line 4 stroke. It'll pull a 4 blade prop easy and completely nestle itself in the cowl. I'll have to do some modifications and see if there are heat issues but it'll be worth it. Dale

RE: Threaded rod backed out of clevis in flight
I use JB weld on one of them. I find it easier to do than soldering (maybe I'm lazy) and I've never had a failure in 15 years. Just mix it up, put it on the rod, screw it in and then add a little extra on the outside. Foolproof. Dale

RCV engines. In line four stroke. They make a 90 and a 120 that would work wonders in your kit. Dale

Looking for a TF P-51 cockpit kit
I'm building a TF 60 size Mustang and I'd like a cockpit kit for it. I'm not sure if TF produced one or not. I thought they did, not sure. I know I've seen one before but can't for the life of me remember who made it. Any help would be appreciated. THanks Dale

RE: How do you build your own onboard glow?
seanreit. So, that is simply a on/off switch that could be triggered by a servo arm? Ok, I like that. Can't see why that wouldn't work. Now, if a guy took a normal JR/Hitec switch and put that in the circuit to a rechargable "C" battery, you could also use the charge jack so as you would never have to take it out of the fuse eh? Dale
