Yeah FEJ doing investigation, how about giving them silent treatment, ALA the middle finger and then buttering up for there next FEJ crap plane. with 25% off! I didn't have so much of an issue that there are problems with the Fly Eagle Jet, I have a problem that the company doesn't give a damn, total and utter disregard. They make fake posts up claiming how awesome there stupid viper-m is and that everyone should just forget about all the issues. That is the real problem with fly eagle, the lack of communication, response or dialog.

Give Dantley 2 new jetcat RX's engines and a replacement airframe after you fix your issues, let him fly it hard and after he posts he is happy, I'll order a 1/3 bae hawk I'm sure others will too if you don't your going to feel the sting of loosing the U.S. market... Increase you prices if you have to, Jet pilots have money to burn but don't want there airframes to!
ORIGINAL: x3dflyer I talked to my builder today who placed this order on September 22nd of 2012 (this was the date of the 50% deposit) He was told the order was being placed and has a trail of documentation to back this up ..so if you go back to this date I've actually been waiting for over 32 weeks I'm not sure I can blame fej though as Lowell singlehandedly decided not to place the order until I paid 100% ..even though he told my builder it would be ordered ..he told me that my builder knew this up front..which I don't believe is true On January 7th I paid the final balance and only then was I told it was actually ordered.. Yeah I got shafted ..either way you look at it.. I paid out roughly $3300 on September 22nd and another $3250 on January 7th...and yet I still don't even have a picture of this jet I ordered ??? Hmmm....I'd think twice about ordering from fej if I was looking to buy a jet from them.. Anthony
Tell that LOWEL guy you want your money back or your take him to small claims.

Hrm, well on my ignition failure the temp is int he 38 to 46C range, what happens is that the TEMP doesn't go high enough. However, on the times it does reach 72 than the remaining start up process works fine, so What setting should I change to make sure that the ignition reaches 72 C

Cool thanks, Another thing, every since switching to diesel I'm getting ignition failures every 1 out of 3 starts. What setting can I changed to reduce this from happening? I changed the ESC settings to match the latest manual on the site. I'm thinking up the GLOW power from 7.3 Volts to 8.0? Running 3500 mah LIFE 3s battery.

RE: looking for a ultra lighting
What are you looking to spend? I have one, not looking to sell unless the price is good. $9,750 on its wheels RTF w/ KingTech 180G low low runtime. EV5U-EVO Multi Function air controller 2 x Thunder Power 3600 mah lipos for main 1 x 3400 3s life for turbine. 8x 7950TG Programmed and matched. Central Hobbies Carbon Fiber / Titanium Pushrods Extended Servo wires no extensions covered in snake skin Custom Metallic/Pearl Paint job. Paint job is an 8/10, has a clear coat so it pops but 1 or 2 minor overruns and a blemish here are there (better than the stock paint) Shipping would be about $250.00 insured to freight terminal.

New turbine ESC is show 0374M run time?
Setting up a new turbine and while scrolling through the settings noticed the ESC is saying 0374M run time on a new engine? Is this normal? Engine is a 180G and has only been bench run for about 5 mins.

RE: CARF Ultra Lighting
This isn't a dedicated thread but here are some of the mods I did: 1, Ditched the nose gear hinging and with with dubro style flat hinges, 2, Cut the NOSE wheel door at 70mm instead of the 80mm 3, go with 4 Inch wheels for the mains instead of the 4.25 4, the Behotec struts work good as well, I would say get the fully electric package form http://www.altecare.com/retracts.htm the electron are another good option but require opening up the bays 3mm, the behotec c-50ER line will drop right in. 5, You will need to add 1 more screw to hold the rudder, CARF stock only has 1 screw/nut I found this not to be good enough, had to put a j-nut in the rudder to get a 2 screw for the rudder. 6, Go with JR servos, I hard mounted mine any other servo won't fit the 8911HV's are an exellent choice on all surfaces. 7, for nose steering make sure you have tygon tubing on the pull-pull cables, also use rubber bands and anchor points to keep them stout when the gear is retracted 8, Make a brass/aluminum rail for the nose weel so the nose strut doesn't get CAUGHT when opening (you can also put a rubber band from the nose strut behind the rail to a wood mount on the nose door, this will allow you to open and close the nose gear without issues.

RE: CARF Ultra Lighting
One of the best planes you can buy for the money, For retracts, get the CARF struts on the Behotec C-50 Electric retracts w/E-brakes and lado tech electronic doors actuators (30mm for the mains and 20 mm for the nose) a fully electric setup would be great! I have had both dreamworks struts and the stock ones, for me I liked the stock ones because it was easier to mount the gear doors (also i did ball links), however, the dreamworks are much stronger. The UL has very very strong wings, It will rip out the struts from the retracts before damaging the wings. Keep the plane light, under 38lbs dry. I put about 15 oz of nose weight in mine to balance (but I keep my batts in the main fuse I just wanted the nose cone to be easily removable without having to fool with connections) Overall, great plane!

Options: $5,295.00 Painted kit (Jolly Roger looks nice, Skymaster has great paint schemes, hopefully they can add some weathering to it) $2,190 with Gear $195.00 fuel tanks $195.00 for cockpit $95.00 for working canopy $95.00 for air kit (worth it I got it in my SKymaster hawk and they lay it out clean but you'll need to replace the quickconnects with real robarts as well as the plastic tees... hrm may be not worth it now do that I think about it...) $195.00 for Gear Door Set Cylinders $250.00 for exhaust pipes $495 Missile Set - $9,005 They are probably going to offer Details4Scale Light Kit as an option for $425.00 installed $9,430.00 Shipping will be about $750.00 $10,180.00 Minus cash discount of 5% $9,670.00 I'll Ask if they could do the above $9,000.00 shipped. This is about $2,500 more than the FEJ F-14, but we all know by now what the FEJ's F-14 is really worth.

8911HV vs 8711?
Time to buy a batch of servos, the 8911HV servos are priced the same as the 8711 but are HV capable, have more torque & have SUPERSTEEL gears vs the 8711 which is limited to 6 volts, less torque and uses standard metal alloy gears. So assuming voltage isn't an issue, are there any other advantages of the 8711 vs 8911HV?
