RE: C.G. Eaglet 50 Question?
I learned to fly with an Eaglet 50 back in the late 1980s. Liked that plane a lot, now I'm building two, one for my brother and one for myself. I would agree with Mike, go with a .20 to .25. A .40 will require the engine mount to be moded, lead added to the tail and you will find that a bigger tank won't fit. A 6 oz tank is about the bigest tank that will fit, the plans show a 4 oz tank. RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
You have that right! Raising kids now days is a real challenge, I hope to teach them real responsibility, but some days I'm not sure that they get it. Our oldest is 11 but going 15. It's much harder to raise kids in town where we live now, I grew up on a farm and had it a lot better as a kid. Dave

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
ORIGINAL: AmishWarlord Found a a couple of US 1000's on ebay today. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Great-Planes-Ultra-Sport-1000-R-C-model-airplane-kit-80-wing-span-/270850297198?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f0fef8d6e http://www.ebay.com/itm/GREAT-PLANES-ULTRA-SPORT-1000-RADIO-CONTROLLED-MODEL-AIRPLANE-KIT-80-Span-/350505002653?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item519bb9e69d
Well thanks to AmishWarlord I won an US 1000 off ebay, also picked up an US 40 ARF off the bay. I won't get to build the US 1000 for awhile, but hope to have the US ARF flying in 2 or 3 weeks. Now that I have been infected with the Ultra Sport fever, could I have #117 in the brotherhood? Dave

RE: CG Jr. Tiger
Goldberg still sells the plans to the Jr. Tiger. I bought a set about a year ago, it took a bit over a week for shipment, and if I remember correctly shipping was a bit high. http://www.carlgoldbergproducts.com/airplanes/cplans.html Hope this helps. Dave
