Malasian Flyer, Normally you can't compare a 35% extra with a 40% extra, but this Knol extra flies just like it. Although you'll never have the same power unless you put a DA100 with pipes in front, but than the airframe will lose strength. The votec flies realistic, when it comes to flying a 40% in general, but the real Votec flies a bit different. Fun_fly_3D, You can set your rates in afpd next to the channel. You can assign a channel by just clicking on it.

I tried both my ikarus s2 motors with an ikarus 8*4 prop and the engine quites at halfpower making a strange noise. Any help appreciated. many thanks

Yes you can make the afpd planes fly practically identical to the real thing. The bigger the plane is the easier it go's. right here you can download the patty wagstaf extra for afpd. http://www.rc-sim.de/index_en.htm Go to the afpd download plane section and on the top of page two you'll find the patty wagstaf extra.

I program to modes: 1 for normal flying: lineair level pitch curve and normal throttle curve. Then I can switch to pps mode by moving one switch, then I'm flying in a heli curve.

Most of the video's on my website have the songwriter and song next to them, but if you like I'll put a whole list on my website, no problem. The pps4D is very hard to set up good, I'm afraid I can't make it better than the version you can download on the ipacs site.

Both the Yak and the Votec have a bit of coupling in KE. Michael, if you find the Ef yak to be nose heavy, just get the Cg to the back with an inch.

I think this plane flies slightly more realistic than the Votec322, which was by the way extremely difficult to configure realistic and properly. You can't just convert them to a mediaplayefile. You need to capture your movies with a program or with your videocamera.

Edible engine, I have to admit, it's quite difficult to Fly 3D with the WOT. Just get a lot of deflection, get your CG a little bit back. And DON'T make mistakes. If you're too slow with the elevator work you want make it. Just be carefull. I wanted to hover it lower, but it's not my plane, and my friend his father was nagging all the time the plane made too much noise.[X(]

Trisquire it's a seperate manouvre. Bassicaly it has the same inputs as a slow rol, only you need to fly it in High alpha and increase all the rates. On my website you'll find some files wherin I explain how to perform some 3D manouvres. www.docinsane.com

mjemery, I leave expo in the sim itself at zero, I use my tx for all my settings. seasterling, I leave simspeed at 100, seems pretty realistic to me. I'll try the new extra tomorrow and I'll let you know my settings. edible engine, where do I find this edge? Thanks

Leeu, I've tried to make the 65" OMP yak fly realistic, I'll post the settings later today. RobT, my deflection stays at 3D rates(60° onall surfaces), but I introduce expo and I reduce rollrate from 125% to 110% expo: rolls: 0% elevator: 15% rudder: 5%
