RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
Ok, lets look at economics 101. Love Ebay or hate them they charge what the market will bare. A business will never stay in business by looking at their bills and charging %5 over that. What they charge depends solely on what people will pay. Want to change Ebay fee's? Get the 20 some million users to stop using them and they will change, they'll have too to stay in business. Thats why we should never offer bail outs for businesses. They should fail if their not keeping their customers happy. It's the market. If your sick of Ebay, quit complaining about it and make your own web site and charge what ever you want...Like I always say, if it's so easy then you do it...BTW I do own my own brick and morter business...

RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
As an infrequent buyer, when I buy something I look at the feedback and if there is 50,000 positive and 2 or 3 negative, I just figure these are the "Turds" of society and they aren't happy with anything. So don't worry about negative feedback from turds...

RE: chipmuck
You all have too much time on your hands if you can argue on such details...When I came back after being gone for 10 years I thought I was having problems and whether it was P-factor, Torque or DT (dumb thumb), it took some time to get my take offs to look right. Then I noticed the tail wheel was loose and it was wandering...So just offer your advice and let the poor guy decide what he wants to try for himself. Time spent arguing is time not flying the way I look at it...

RE: Why not transport your fully assembled aircraft to the field?
Has anyone tried to pull a plane trailer with a motorcycle? I ride my bike every day to work and I thought it would be nice to pull a trailer with the plane so I could go right to the field from work. Funny stuff by the way, just not sure if some people put this stuff up just to stir the pot...Fun though!!!

RE: Where is this hobby going
I used to work for Culpepper models. Many of you will not even know who that is, but we produced some of the best gliders in the country. Don't believe it? Look up who owned the record for longest R/C plane flight at over 5 hours with a Culpepper models Chuperosa. Well that company is gone because China can make kids work for free. I wanted to Open a hobby Shop and when I ran the numbers you would have to be nuts to try that business because everyone looks in your shop and then buys on the internet. No loyalty to local shops anymore. Yes these are realities and they suck for us older folks that remember a simpler time and innocence. But time marches on and so does society and as many have already said here, we must stop whining about the past and cherish it, rememeber it and commit it to the archives. But we must move forward! Now does anyone have the guts to change the direction we are now heading? That is if you don't like it. I believe we have many more choices now and I just finished a 1/4 scale Lanier Laser 200 kit thats been in my basement for years. AND, I have some of those cheap electrics. Flying is flying and I love it more now than ever, and I would do anything to pass it on but I can't make people love what I love. However, I don't believe R/C will ever die, just evolve.....Now go out there and share your passion!!!
