Hi I got the dx6 a few weeks ago, and it seems to work good, but until helidirect gets off their hadicap horse and send my motor and esc I won't dare get off the ground with the heli, as the esc seems to be acting up. Yeah just a heads up for anyone ordering from helidirect, if you ever have to send anything back Don't DO it!! the recieved my stuff over 1 month ago and have yet to send out my gear. OUCH!! I wish I had a remote control rocket I could send their way lmao jk Peace out

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36
hehe I have both of those, not quite sure all the differences but the holes in the top one are for a certain rotor head that has two pins coming from the bottom of it which fit into those slots..The head assy for that one (top one) only costed me 40 bucks from some dude in china on ebay... The other one I paid 25 american just for the swash..which I got from helidirect.

Hi ppl, I'm attempting to get out my one way/main gear. I made it as far as having the csaw, shaft and whole head assy out. Now I'm stumped.... I can't seem to wiggle the main gear out of there, is there any special trick, or something else I have to take out as well?? thanks

Hi guys, I seem to be having problems with my one-way too. So I was wondering what exactly do you glue it to? the main shaft? Or the Main gear, I thought it was the gear?

RE: ** WALKERA DRAGONFLY 36 *
mine gave out on me too, but then started (sort of) working again, I was testing it trying to get rid of wobble. So I was first throttling up with "just" the flybar and paddles on, while leaving the throttle in the same position while examining the tracking and wobble of the heli, it would just shut off and restart for no reason...don't dare to try to fly with it.. I did get it a little wet last week tho so thats probably my problem...

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36
All you "NEED" is the tail servo mounts to put the servo back on the tail, you can cut and bend the current rod thats attatched to the tail servo to work.

Hi, I got mine about a month, "maybe" two monthes ago and mine was up front too. I have since moved it to the back tho, it limits the size of the battery. i hated it compared to it being on the tail

RE: ** WALKERA DRAGONFLY 36 *
well I don't "think" that with the trex I would not have changed the whole set of electronics lol, I got all new servo's and the 140 dollar gyro because the walkera ones should be shot out of a cannon lol. honestly all together besides for the ups I think I would have saved money in buying a trex.. but oh well, that'll come soon enough (well after the snowmobile I get this weekend lol) [8D] mooohooohahaha

RE: ** WALKERA DRAGONFLY 36 *
with the stock motor it's pretty rare that ppl get off the ground. I did with mine but only long enough to crash lol. If I were u I would get a good battery and a new motor... I don't even want to talk about all the stuff I got for my 36 so far but here goes (dx6 199, align 420lf+speed controller 85, gy401 140, new abs blades 6 bucks (great for beginners), new lipo 50, new charger 50, plus probably 500 in replacement parts for the next time I crash lol, oh yeah and a metal swash for 35....metal rotor head that I can't use unless I get some other ups, so I ordered the cheapo package from hong kong which isn't here yet but it was 50 bucks ..... Anyways, I'm still not done yet the blade grip linkage snapped, with all the money I spend I could have bought an insane heli. Lol but you live and learn, once I get this one tuned out and get alright at hovering I'm getting a trex cause the parts are all over the place and there are ups galore for the trex too...

C when I took the shaft out and replaced it ever since my one way hasn't been the same, don't know if it's just lose in there or if its messed up but I need to get it out either way to look at it. Hi guys I got some info that might keep some ppl from wasting their money like I have. the shogun flybar, doesn't fit. It's bigger in diam just enough so that the flybar weights won't go on... I bought 4 so I wouldn't have to order one every time I crash now I'm stuck with them lol.... doh I guess I could order some shogun flybar weights too, does anyone know if they are the same legnth?

The light on the gyro will blink if there is no signal from the tx
ORIGINAL: brettw
ORIGINAL: DominationPB flashing light means no signal from your tx. If you plug in your heli and leave your tx off, the light will blink too.
Thanks for the reply however do you mean the RX light will blink or the gyro light? RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36
Actually it is doing it with the new gy401 I got (the tail servo problem), already tried adjusting everything to no avail. The other problem, I have now re-tested with the multimeter and there are still no volts going to the motor even with it plugged in. So either the this is the second esc I blew or the second motor I did in lol or both again with my luck.....What happened I think is I took it outside ealier to try to get the new gyro working right and as soon as it took off it spun super fast in one direction so I landed it (in a little snow, which could have very well shorted out the esc) [:@] stupid snow lol

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36
I have a new problem, which doesn't surprise me lol. ok the walkera esc seems to have stopped working, I can control everything except the motor, I disconnected the motor and put a multi-meter on the wires that goto the motor.. I changed throttle up and down with no voltage at all...would you guys say this means I fried it for sure?? Thats two in a month, can't wait for my new rx/tx hopefully the frying will stop.. 1 more thing too, I just got a hs-50 (for the tail) and it doesn't seem to work properly with the walkera rx/tx, when I plug it in it won't move in one direction at all unless I move the tab on tx almost all the way to one side, anyone ever hear of this happening, and perhaps know the reason for it???? It's fast as hll tho compared to the walkera ones... My brain hurts lol Thanks
