I wanted to make sure "Paul" from your telephone tech support, gets a pat on the back for a job well done. Spoke w/ him a couple of minutes ago, and am very satisfied with his professionalism, and thoroughness. I fear my parts request will be in vain, but am still holding out hope. On a side note, is the "parts request" thread still in use? I have posted a couple of requests, that seem to have fallen on deaf ears. I hope at least someone from Nitroplanes reads this! Jeff D.

RE: a-10 fan units
If the fans you have are the brushed motor type, you may not be able to get them off. The impellers on these fans are "pressed" on to the shaft, and won't come off w/out a fight. Bad news is, even if you do get them off they typically can't be used in a "brushless" application. I would suggest buying new EDF units, as well as new motors. The 50mm(or 55mm, measure your fans first!) EDFs from GWS are a direct swap, as your A-10 is a copy of their desgn. Don't forget you will also need 2 brushless ESC's(speed controllers) , the brushed speed controllers are not compatible, and a bigger battery(LiPo). Good luck, and happy flying! Jeff

RE: Lipo C rates...
You are correct, in that the "C" rating is the discharge rating. It is the amount of amps a battery can discharge continuously , To get the max continuous rate, multiply the "C" rate times the capacity. For example 2200maH(milliamp hour) battery, with a 20 "C" rating will produce 44000 milliamp continuous, or 44amps. Of course at that rate, the battery would be depleted in around 3 minutes!
