RE: Covering undercamber secrets ?
You can apply an adhesive such as Balsaloc or Balsarite to the deepest part of the undercamber on each rib.

Here is a 9 inch rafter square made of some indestructible plastic. I bought it because it has a broad foot so that it can stand by itself when aligning tail surfaces.

RE: How to install Blenderm hinge tape
> if I lay it flat and then put the tape on, how will it flex in both directions. < Not dumb, it is a good question. The key element is to have a small gap between the the two surfaces when they are joined. If there is no gap the control surface will up, but not down. This applies to both tape and to film (covering) hinges. I set this up on a trial fit with balsa shims for the gap and masking tape pieces simulating the hinge. This lets you check if the gap allows enough throw for the control surface.

RE: Weighing your planes
You don't have to spend a fortune on a digital scale. Take a look at http://www.saveonscales.com/Digital_Scales_Lowest_Prices_Link.htm/ For example, the Myweigh 3001P weighs up to 6lb. 10 oz. by 0.1 oz. and is priced at $29.50. They have a huge variety of scales to pick from. I also use it to accurately estimate postage on hobby items I sell on eBay.

There are seven Jetex plans listed in the Flying Models catalog and I am sure you can find more in the other plan catalogs. But what are you going to do for fuel cartridges?

> Can I just get a splitter cable and run them together before entering the Tx? < Yes, use a Y-cable before entering the receiver, you mean. da Rock has a good suggestion. What I do though is nip one of the leads of the Y-cable and not the ESC lead.

RE: Twin Electric Motors
The usual setup requires one ESC for each brushless motor. If you are using the BEC function you need to disconnect one of the BEC's by either snipping the red wire of one of the throttle leads or pulling the red pin out of its plastic connector.

RE: Shear Webbing
> All it has to do is supplement the ribs to prevent buckling. < Hmm. I am no engineer but that has never been mentioned in my reading over many years. I have read that the purpose of the shear webs is to tie the two spars together so that they act as one beam and the ribs don't even have to touch the webs, even if many modelers think that is necessary. Another myth is extending the webs out to the very tip when there is no bending load to speak of there.

RE: futaba 7c 2.4 ghz timer
Setting the timer to the throttle for a specific model is the most confusing operation on the 7CAP transmitters. Assuming that my 72mhz transmitter works the same as yours I will try to spell out the procedure. Select the desired model and go to Timer function. Cursor to INH and dial it to OFF. I set the throttle to 3 clicks up as the start point for the timer. Cursor to the time and set the minutes and seconds desired. Set mode to UP and use the dial to set SW to 3 and the up arrow. Cursor to SW and press the dial. Then END.
