RE: Revo 3.3 Wheelies
The revo 3.3 has the extended chassis, so you don't do wheelies!! I've geared mine down, and locked my slipper, so it doesn't slip, and it only wheelies sometimes. I got about a gallon through mine also. I put the stiffest springs in also. I like that it doesn't whellie all the time, my savage does, and it gets old, you can't control it, cause it's always wheeling.

RE: Is 14 tooth clutchbell/40 tooth spur gear a good or bad combo for revo?
For a RB, that's probably too low i'd say, but i've never seen one run. I got the 15/40 combo in my revo 3.3, i want to get the 14. Here at my house it really never gets to top speed, so the lower the better.

RE: Sirio .27 Monster XL Standard OR NOVAROSSI TOP T528XSP .28 OR SH .28?
I have the Sirio .27 Race, i didn't like it. I had it in my Savage, couldn't keep the heat down, tricky to tune also. I should of expected this from a Race Engine, but i wanted the fastest. I just put the HPI 4.6 in, and i'm very impressed by the power. I think it's got the same power as the Sirio, but alot more user friendly. Just my Opinion's [:D]

RE: SS 4.6 and K4.6 reviews thread
ORIGINAL: Nitro Driver Ran my K4.6 today for the first time and what can I say , what a beautiful engine it starts from first or second pull and break in was very easy and tuning was even easier , and man it's too loud way way louder than my S-25 to the extend that i was annoyed of the sound at the end. ( I am using the HPI ribbed pipe ) Performance is amazing too , but I didn't go for wheelies as I don't want to put any load on the engine for the first 10 tanks. This engine accelerates from any speed you like and it's mid range punch is amazing and the temp was on the safe range too even though I am using a medium cold plug and the weather was 17 celcius. Also the SS4.6 stickers that came with the engine are very nice and it also came with HPI's newest high performance air filter. This engine is highly recommended Well done HPI [sm=thumbup.gif]
I agree, i love this engine!! I bought my engine by itself, from Tower. I think it's got as much power as my Sirio did, but runs cooler, and easier to tune. [sm=thumbup.gif]Awesome Engine[sm=thumbup.gif]

The 4.6 is AWESOME!! I got about 6-7 tanks through mine. It's easily got as much power as my Sirio .27 Race did. So far it starts right up, tunes easy [:D] I was going to get video today, but we got a snow storm [8|]
