RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
I use a couple of Y to join the output tubes that go into the centre tank and another to join the vent tubes. That way as long as the tygon is the same length for each saddle tank, they will empty at the same rate doing it the way you suggested would see one saddle tank empty before the other and while I'm sure it would have little effect on the lateral balance in flight, I just like things to be symmetrical.

E6000 is available here Gary, just search eBay for a quick source. It's also called Goop over the pond.

RE: Hobby King turbine!
ORIGINAL: DominicM I think HK have done a smart thing by sending it to the RCModelReviews chap. Based on all his other work we can be fairly sure he'll give an unbiased view of the unit and what it can do. Think I read he's a first time turbine user but he's a superb engineer. Price will dictate how well these sell. Looks to me like it would fit in a large 90mm/120mm EDF jet.
Dom going on past history you would probably try to fit one in a 90mm EDF jet, but that's P20 territory really [:D] I did think it looked a little big to be a 80 sized unit, but looking at my M100 it's not to different in size. The fact that Bruce didn't know what the kero plug was until the edit, does make you wonder how someone can review a turbine when they have no experience of using them. So for someone who is very net savy like Bruce is, you would of expected to A: of known what it was if he had an interest in turbines. B: of done a bit of research if he didn't have any experience as soon as he knew that he was going to do a review.

RE: R/C Report back issue with Bantam plans
I realize that this is over a year old, but in case you haven't found it yet, it's the April 1993 issue of R/C Report. Sometimes the old copies come up on ebay or other back issue sources. I have a copy of the article if you would like. I can scan it into .pdf and email it to anyone that would like. I won't have access to my scanner till next week, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

RE: Spektrum DX18
Not that any of the above has anything to do with the thread title but.... Tim I think you are wrong about that. If say every servo was drawing 3 amps, the single servo lead going into a powerbox etc would be carrying 3amps, but a Y lead with 2 servos attached would be carrying 6amps would it not?
ORIGINAL: InboundLZ
ORIGINAL: AFTERBURNER1
ORIGINAL: IFlyEm35 Very nice Selleri! What type of batteries are you running?
Nice n clean but the bee hive is still buried beneath...[:D]
Yep! Good luck when you have to service it or trouble shoot....
Actually i did have to do some service work on that model at the weekend, the underside was just as neat and everything was easy to access after the removal of just 6 screws. So i guess Sverrir has the best of both worlds. I can't stand a model that has everything bear on top of the tray as it' always looks a mess, plus any fuel splillage is on top of everything making it difficult to clean properly.

I was impressed with the P80 performance, it was faster than I thought it would be. I was going to put a Merlin 140 in mine but after seeing that I'm going to try it with my M100 out of the Bobcat first and when I get bored go for the 140 :)

You can copy the image link below the photos on photo bucket and paste them here so they embed into the post. The motor looks a fair bit older and different to my LS (below is yours, I'll take a pic of mine in a bit)

RE: Telling difference between Nelson Q40 LS & Q40 SS
My exhaust doesn't have LS engraved on it, but there are tiny letters scratched onto the mounting lugs if I remember correctly. For the photos, sign up to photo bucket and then paste the links from there into a message, it sounds like hassle, but works everything so less frustrating than posting in RCU
