RE: Warbirds Over Livermore the Movie
Thanks Ron. Great video. I've attended one or two scale meets at the old Livermore field in the dim past. Cheers,

Bruce: This fuel fillers have a tendency to fail. Think about mounting it where it is easy to get to. Dubro makes repair kits for them. Cheers, Andy

RE: Pretty Disgusted with Sellers on RCU
Did you use Paypal in your transactions. That would provide a measure of protection. Also excellent to one person may not mean excellent to you. Not that I'm excusing the junk you ended up with. I would highly recommend that the seller provides you with lots of images on future purchases. And yeas you are correct, there are unscrupulous people out there. Be sure to give them the appropriate rating. Cheers,

RE: P-40 Brotherhood (All P-40's Welcome)
Well I just can't resist this brotherhood as just like Chad I've had a love/hate relationship with the P40. My first one, a TF red box kit with fixed gear loved me. My second one, a Brian Taylor P40 modified to a "B" model did everything it could to make me look bad. Somehow I managed not to kill it. So in my lengthy build queue is a JB P40C with a terrific Vic fiberglass fuse and Sierra retracts as well as another Brian Taylor P40 an "E" this time.

RE: CMP 120 Zero ARF Build thread
[/sizThe inline Saio twin requires lots of cooling over the back cylinder due to it's position, so be sure to provide ample airflow as it is prone to overheating. Cheers,

RE: bad luck at the feild
Anything broken can be repaired. However, you might want to give more details as to the type of plane (balsa, foam or fiberglass) before someone can offer suggestions. As you are seventeen years old, you might also try using proper English. Cheers,

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito 81
Looking good. Testors makes a spray product called Dullcote that will take the shine out model paints. Excellent for uniforms and faces. Consider painting the goggle lenses shiny black to simulate dark lenses. Cheers,

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito 81
Good for you. One more thought for you, when you break them in and for your flying, I follow the recommendations of Brian Winch. He's the authorized service center for Saito in Oz. He never uses any fuel with castor oil in it. therefore no gumming up of the valves or burnt on gunk. He recommends Cool Power all synthetic. Having said this, I'm sure it will start up lots of controversy on fuels. Cheers,

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito 81
That may be borderline at that weight for the 52's. Think about the OS .62's. They will probably swing a three blade 12 x 7 prop at around 9K. Just my opinion but it gives you more power margin. But then I've never overpowered my scale planes, it's just a personal preference. Cheers, Great build by the way.

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito 81
Keep in mind that B.T. flew his originally on a couple of FS 40's which were marginal, he changed to a couple of FS 48's and it flew well. Yours should be a rocket at half throttle on the 95's. Cheers,
