RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
Dumorian: If I'm counting correctly... did you extend your ailerons one extra bay? If so, I've heard this is a very good idea. Mine with flaps and my plan to do full span aileron programming should give me whatever I want for a reasonable roll rate. Yes he extend his ailerons and i believe he extend the ruder too.... i think so. i will put flaps too. a litle present (picture) ...

RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
Stevo, Congratulations, really nice work. Yesterday I built the elevator and rudder. Now I'm going to build the fuselage, before assembling everything, I m going to build a matching piece to the side where the wing tube going. for that I am doing a piece according to the plane and then have to strengthen. regards

Thank you, I take into consideration all the tips. When feselage and motor are installed, I will see the location of the servos and batteries. I think that one of the way you can leave the tail light.

RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
Good job Stevo, Finally I got my kit. I am very surprised when I saw a large amount of wood on the inside. At the moment i´m reparing a friend plane and then begin the assembly of the Decathlon. I hope my engine is´nt so short for the plane. I have a Super Tigre G2300 with pump and carburator perry . V/S gas engine I have 2 lb less which will give me better wing loading. i move a 18/6. Soon i begin to work on the plane, it will be a winter project.

RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
Actually there are several changes I want to do, Build doors and windows mobile, Trying to hide the fuel tank, and to play more at low speed it will flap (not scale). On the picture you can see the front of the plane. But the f2, i dont like to see a lot of wood through the windshield. I must change that.

RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
thank you very much, I have served much your photos, this is really a very heavy kit, so we have to try to alleviate. We also buy the kit was float 1 / 4 scale of the sig, which I have to build together with the plane for mounting the bindings before monokote. If my English is not good, sorry, all used Google translator.

RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon
You said: OS 1.60............ someone has to be using it with sucess in this plane. Anyone like to give any input? By specs it puts out more hp than any gas engine 35cc and under.... and weighs 2 pounds less. Whell, I'm going to put a Super Tigre G 2300 bombing and carburetor perry. What do you think about.
