RE: FEJ 1/4.85 scale J-10 light/3D version in Maryland USA
Well I started to attached the fuse together and begining to look like a something. This is pretty much complete version. All electronics servos, gears, fuel tanks valves etc are installed at the factory for reasonable charged. I am being lazy besides I have other projects going on. I expect it will take less than a week to get it ready for the maiden.

FEJ 1/4.85 scale J-10 light/3D version in Maryland USA
I received my large J-10 arrived today. I will start the build thread and post pictures along the way. This is a nice winter project, it so darn cold a good place to hybernate and build is @ home. This is an easy build almost everything is done at the factory. It came with two large boxes you see here. The model was packed very well, tight and secured with a high density white foam. No damage to the model at all. This is a light version with no scale detail, scale gears, no gear doors to keep it light and simple "not much bling" also VT is installed for 3D capability. You have two ready option for engine installation mid and tail section, and chosen the mid section. For power I will be dropping P200 on this baby.

HELP Futaba 14MZ rc learn for ATJ-120
Having trouble setting up my new radio with ATJ-120 After I go through set the ECU, I get a message " LOW trim Radio is not properly set". I've follow these step. 1. Set up ECU throttle in channel 3. 2. Select End Point (ATV) menu. 3. Set channel 3 throttle ATV limits to 135%. 4. Set channel 3 throttle TRAVEL limits to 135%. 5. Set throttle stick and throttle trim to full low. (Set trim for fast travel) 6. Select Linkage/Fail Safe menu. 7. Save Channel 3 F/S POS with stick and trim set to full low. (Should be approx -135%) 8. Select End Point (ATV) menu. 9. Set throttle TRAVEL to 50%. (The objective is to get enough millisecond spread between the F/S setting of 135% ATV and the 50% TRAVEL limit to trigger the ECU fail safe with signal loss. The range of the throttle TRAVEL settings is not critical. Could use 60% or even 40% if necessary.) 10. The throttle ATV and TRAVEL settings must be set in each TX condition used on the model. Use Group and Condition copy on TX programming if possible. 11. Set throttle stick and throttle trim to full low. 12. Perform Learn RC procedure on ECU described in ECU manual. 13. Check for ECU fail safe with TX off at all throttle stick and trim positions. 14. Check for ECU fail safe with TX off in all TX conditions used on the model. (Takeoff, Land, Normal, 3D, etc.) Thanks

Large VT FEJ J10 flite in Maryland USA
So far we have about 15 flights and all I can say is, this jet is huge and you'll never loose sight of it due to it's size. This is a lighter version with honeycomb/cf technique. Behotec 180 golden edition kero start for power and plenty push and to do 3D. Dry weight is 30 lbs including drogue chute and smoke systems. No gear doors are used to minimized weight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y52Lb3oZIOo

RE: First FEJ large J-10 maiden in USA Maryland
Hi Ron you looking great man. The field is located in Laurel Maryland Freestate Aero Modelers route 198 and I-95. For power is a Behotec 180. This is a super light version, no gear doors, clear canopy, very simple tri gear. Individual valve for gears and brakes and shute. I used the company recommended CG. One gear was binding due to the mud splashed on the cylinder/trunion other that that the jet flew great. During final approach the plane was ballooning due to the high wind I kept the power almost until touch down. I will do more flying this week.
