How do the ones that have used the hover training feature in Realflight feel it? Do you recommend it for beginning Hover/torque rolling? Thanks, EngineDesigner

G4.5 to learn 3D
Like the post says, is G4.5 good to learn 3D with? Right now, I am able to hover all day with any of the 3D planes. How about the Hover training? Personally I cant stand it, but if it is a great tool then I am all for it. I do wish to hear others thoughts. Thanks, Engine Designer

Big Chaos questions?? Engine and Retracts...
Ok Guys, I am going into yesteryear from when I was a kid watching my father flying 60 size Kaos planes. I am now currently building a 80" Big Chaos from bluejay. Folks, bluejay has a quality kit here!!! Anyway on to my questions: I want to still maintain a tricycle landing arrangement but with retracts. what size, brand do you all recommend? Also, what engine for the new bird? I am looking at 2 stroke only with Pipe. I thought about O.S. 140 RX, O.S. 160 FX, Mintor 170, Webra 160 AAR(kinda thought this one due to father used webra blackhead with flat slide carb on his). Love to know everyones thoughts. Take care, ED

[:D] I JUST GOT MY NEW YAK!!!! LIKE A KID ON CHRISTMAS MORNING I AM!!! No, seriously, this is my first big plane and well... I love it. This is so big compared with what I am used too. I did get the fuji 43 combo from Tower. Maybe not the best setup, but I am happy with my purchase for now. I just love to look at it in the box, and cant wait to get it into the air. I have sat here most of the day reading this thread. You guys are the greatest, ED

Overall differences between Bandit ARF and Super Bandit composite?
What are the differences between the Bandit ARF and the Super Bandit Composite? Other than the obvious ARF format, is one faster in flight or better handling? Thanks for all the information. Take care, ED

SIG ASTRO HOG STRENGTH MODS
Hello all, Some of the old timers at our local field say that there are some unwritten additional construction add-ons to give the plane extra strength in some weak spots. I believe the 2 spots are 1. the stabilizer and 2. around the wing mounted landing gear. I am not exactly sure though. Is there someone that can give some helpful answers on these unwritten add-ons. Thanks in advance, Engine Designer

TT Rare Bear And GP Lil' Toni Question
Hello Everyone, This is my first post. I can truly say I am so glad to be here. I know this is gonna sound terrible and over my head but here goes. First off, I have never flown an R/C Plane but watched my father as a kid do it. During that time my father was into really fast planes (quickie 500 type) and had Rossi engines that were really rare around here in the early 80's. But during all this, I always wanted him to buy a Prather Lil' Toni, but he never did. Well now I am trying to learn to fly and want to ask this...... I know it is not a first plane to try and I do not intend it to be but as soon as I got back looking around and saw that GP was making a Lil' Toni, I was excited. Same with the Rare Bear by TT. Now here is the question: Could the Rare Bear (it has a lot of bad press) and the GP Lil' Toni go into the discontinued lineup? I am not worried about how long it will take to fly them I just want them for a day in the future when I am ready to fly at that level. Please no flames, just something from a childhood memory that I have always remembered. All comments appreciated. Take care, ED
