RE: WACO YMF
tmac I will have a look at the sub formers. The panels are .4mm ply so I am not sure they will be rigid enough without the sub formers. Will see when I get there. Regards

Hi Ceije I'm confused. Did you not get Kavan pinned hinges for your ailerons with your kit. Why are you using piano hinges? Errol

Tmac I was going to go for the four servo route, but hiding the servo wires to the top wing successfully presented a bit of a problem. So, two servos and counter weights is the route I chose. The plane was designed that way by Peter Barth. Thanks guys for all your input. Regards

Hi Guys Do you ever feel like you are going nowhere with your plane, because that's the way I feel lately. I think that I have taken too long with this project. I've been covering, painting parts, making light covers, work, work. Dozens of parts are ready to be put together. Here are some pictures. Regards ERROL #204

Hi tmac48 Yes the dash is from Vogelsang. Pricy but very nice. I could never make it so well. I am using a Saito 5 cylinder radial with a custom Kelio collector ring exhaust. Should have sufficient power. Unfortunately it is a glow engine. The Moki engine would not fit in the cowl. Regards ERROL #204

Hi tmac and everyone else One of my buddies at the flying club had some louvers that he bought in the U.K. years ago. He gave me some which were perfect. I have made up a panel with them for my Waco. Thanks anyway for all the help and advice you guys gave.

RE: WACO YMF
Tom You need to get the down and side thrust of the engine correct as it has a big influence on the flight characteristics of any model airplane particularly on takeoff. The CG of the plane must also be 100% correct, or trimming the plane in flight will be a nightmare. Regards to all ERROL #204
