3/16th fittings for Ultra Bandit Fuel Cells
Does anyone have any pictures of the 3/16th air-vent fittings (Festo) for the fuel cells in an Ultra Bandit. I am going with the larger fittings and don't see if there is enough room for the usual place for the vent fittings on the top and Fore section of the fuel cells. Actually there may be enough room but if someone has photos of there installation , it would help. sorry for the large photo ...don't know how to reduce for upload.. Thanks, Steve

Schulze nextGenn 10-36-12JR12X NimH?
Has anyone figured out a set of parameters for the Schulze NextGenn chargers that will discharge and charge the 12X transmitter pack ...NimH 2000mah that comes with the transmitter.......I am having issues , not with the discharge cycle but the charging cycle will cut off about at 1000mah 50% of rated capacity......These are new NimH packs . Would appreciate any advise on those who have the 10.36-12 car charger.... Steve

LiPo power pack2S 7.4 3300
Since this is Jet related I will try posting this question concerning this power pac that I recieved with a P180 . It does have a balancer plug but this plug is not compatible with the Thunder Li-poly balance TP210V used with the TP-1010C . Any suggestions or do I just bypass the balancer by skipping the "reading" during intial charging? Wren's 2S Flight Power pac is compatible , although the Flight power pack has a 4 pin connector while the JetCat has a 3 pin ....both are 2S 7.4volt nominal........Any explanation is much appreciated .. Thanks, Steve J Harpole DDS

RE: 12X Flap system versus right eyebrow trim
Thanks for the reply..........What would the left eyebrow default to out of curiosity or is it just determined by the assignment of function. Hope this is clear..........I do understand your two ways of accomplishing the same result.....probably better to default the on trim to off flap trim under 17 devise menue. Regards, Steve

12X Flap system versus right eyebrow trim
have a 12X and with the Flap system activated, wing normal ......when checking the visual movements in the "monitor" screen and viewing travel on the flap system , I have noticed that the right eyebrow trim actually moves the travel position of the flaps themselves . I don't see this as a problem as the right eyebrow is in a position that it would be hard to bump accidentally thereby potentially over travelling the flaps in the landing position but I am curious if anyone might know why this is happening or steer me in the direction of how to cut the right eyebrow function or trim off whereby it will not move the flaps at all . Flap system is activated in this situation .. Thanks for the help Steve

RE: 12x satellite receiver location
I recently converted my intro from 72 mhz to 2.4 and I mounted my satellites in the nose (horizontally polarized) , mid-fuselage (mounted on the side inner wall in a vertical polarized orientation and the third satellite behind the kevlar tank in a horizontal position. I actually used some gaffers tape to secure the horizontal antenna orientation so the suction from the compressor would not try to bend them in an aft or backward direction . Hope this helps ...works for me with no problems Steve

RE: How many of you know CPR?
Hi there Hector, Steve in Tennessee.....we met down in the DR back in January and had a nice discussion on the bus ride. Very well stated . Would be wise for all clubs to have at least an AED close by ......As you know the probability and statistics of survival drop exponentially after the first 4 to 5 mins with CPR and without a debrillator, your chances are almost nil........my condolences to the family. Hector...hope to see you again in the DR in January. I hope to make it down with a plane this time around . All the best to you all there. Regards, Steve J Harpole, DDS

RE: Changing a radio frequency
I would not do so......the module that the crystal plugs in to is specifically tuned to a band of frequencies (72MHZ, 72MHZ or 50MHZ (requiring an amateur license) ...technically it houses the "tank" circuit for the desired band of frequencies.....therefore switching bands requires that the module be changed also. regards, Steve
