RE: anyone know this jet or seller?
A 10 foot pole isn't long enough for this plane and engine. Buyer beware! Rob

Marcs, I wasn't singling you out with my comment. Sorry about that if it seemed that way. I was just lamenting the butchering of the King's English you see here every day on RCU. I'm afraid social networking and Twitter are taking their toll. Regards, Rob F15driver

RE: No Room For UAT...
David, I liked your correction. I am astounded at the bad grammar regularly seen here on RCU. You would think someone who could afford a turbine would know simple English rules such as contractions, possessives, etc. Rob F15driver

RE: When you mix in elevators to work with your ailerons how much throw do u use?
Its a touchy feely thing. On my F-18 the elevators moved about 1/2 the amount of the ailerons and that made for a smooth aileron roll. It'll depend on the airplane also. Can't say there is a set formula. You'll like the result. I would suggest building up to the correct amount rather than doing the panic thing scaling it down. Rob F15driver

Ian, I agree your post. It would take Darrell all of 2 minutes to post on this forum where he is in the business world, i.e. in the game or out. It would appear he is selectively receiving phone calls and emails in order to avoid saying " its not done or I can't (won't) or whatever." Rob F15driver

RE: Whats up with Sierra Precision?
Jack, Would like to hear your formula for success with Darrel. I have been extremely civil with Darrell for the last several months but frankly I'm finally out of patience with him. Only in the last week have my emails and phone messages to him expressed my frustration. I've still been civil, but I'm angry with him for not even giving me the courtesy of a return phone call or email when all I want is my parts back. I will find another solution to the milling work elsewhere when and if I ever get my parts back that I sent him. Rob

RE: JL Mig-29 Brake Problem
John, Latest attempt at a fix after they leaked again this weekend was to use a product called Silicone Grease on the O-ring. The system held air for about 20/30 minutes after its use which is OK but not great. Won't be able to fly until next weekend so won't know if it will work. Looks like you're the lucky one on this forum with this airplane. Rob F15driver

RE: JL MiG-29 Maiden
Sean, Suggest you move the CG back to the aft edge of the front carbon fiber rod. At this CG the plane flares nicely and exhibits no bad flying characteristics. The forward tanks even when full do not adversely affect the flare. Good flying airplane. Rob F15driver
