Lowell is a good guy and has always bent over backwards with any issue I have had. I dont blame him for not getting on here trying to fight with the mob either. Say what you like about the company but all Lowell does is place the order once thats done hes at the mercy of the company like everyone else, he cannot make fej give someone a new jet if they choose not to. It does not matter who made the gear if you turn to fast or you brake hard it can cause a wing tip to rub. I wasn't saying the landing causes it, they are actually pretty stable until it comes to turning and braking. Some people with the older heavier version used p200s, rbxbear44 here on rcu has built and flown several of these and could give you any advice you need. The new 1/5.5 does not weigh as much and should fly fine on the 180. Heck the 1/4.5 scale they have is flown with a 180 size turbine. The f-16 isn't a bad first jet they land very slow and reminded me of a tame pattern plane. If its the honeycomb skin version your turbine should be fine. The only thing tough was after landing, the gear makes it real easy to rub a wing tip.

I built mine with wood, and clamped it to a plastic fold up table, 50 pounds should be more than enough just make sure you use some beefy wood is all.

I have bought three kingtechs and Barry has been great to deal with. The last time we talked he called me to make sure my brand new 170s for my twin had the latest updated internal valves! Great guy to talk to and deal with, I have owned one other brand so my experience is limited but even at my level its very easy to hear and see the difference when switching to the these turbines. I cannot wait for that larger turbines!!!! My only regret is I was not able to make MS Jets to meet Barry [&o] I was moving to TN which is just down the road from KY Jets so hope to meet him then. I hope not! I am not building anything at the moment and because of certain delays in product return my jet flying season is wasting away! I haven't flown my jet since the spring [:'(]. Anyway, just wondering I like to head to his site during times of no building and being bored out of my mind lol Plus watch the build videos for some odd reason gives me the motivation/build bug [:D]
