RE: Im building a 12S A123 from dewalt pack
Thanks but that seams to be the easy way out. I was thinking more if i could crossover cables from on set 6cells to the other half so they both are at the same voltage allways. Does anybody know if in the balancers which input takes priority?? Felipe

Im building a 12S A123 from dewalt pack
How do you balance a 12S pack? Do i need two 10 cell balancers like TP210? How would you wire the pack so both balancers know the same voltage the other cells are? Thanks Felipe

RE: coleman gas and Klotz oil
OK, im back with the results. First I took some mixed fuel from my one gallon jug and poured it on a crystal container. The mix had a homogenous color, meaning that the oil was in suspension. Second I added extra oil(original techniplate)generously. Now i can see what you mean that they wont mix. What really hapopens is that the oil goes to the bottom of the container and would seam that it wont mix. But as soon as you start to stir the container you can actually see the oil go into suspension and mix homogenously. For a test I left the container outside overnight at 33degrees F and the mix stayed in suspension. Long story short, Klotz is Ok to mix with naphta based fuels and wont make a hole in your piston. 64:1 is what I use, 2-1/2 oz per gallon. Cheers Felipe

RE: coleman gas and Klotz oil
I have been running ozark fuel and Klotz original techniplate at 2 oz per gallon. No smoke, no overheating, no predetonation, and i really hope the piston is still in there. Tonight i will mix some ozark and klotz in a crystal container to see what you mean. The description on klotz web site said that it will mix with gasoline and alcohol and that is stays in suspension. Suspension really means it does not mix but i will post on results tomorrow. Felipe

Ff-240
Hello Bax: I need a little help. I got a FF-240 from a friend that was all rusty and bearings where all seized up. I disasembled it and did not take the precaution to notice where the timing of the crankshaft and camshaft where in relation to each other. The engine now has a full set of new bearings and has been cleand and pampered. The only thing missing is the setup of the timing. I noticed that there is a dot on the crankshaft and a hole on the camshaft. This leads me to belive that they should match up, but still dont whant to fire it up and find out the hard way. Well to sum it up: 1) How should the dot and the hole line up? 2) Which is the correct cylinder firing order?

Not for me
Im still waiting (6 weeks) for RD149DP reciever. They send me the wrong reciever the first time, I told them I would keep it anyways and that they could charge me for the wrong reciever, but still waiting on the original reciever. The combo Tx and RX was lacking the flags for the frequency. I would not order from them anymore. Now tha tower has more configuration on radios and recievers I would spend the little extra money for their reliabliity. Felipe

Linux
Sorry to get into this conversation, but, Windoze? Why would you whant to use windows, there are so many embeded processors in small appliances that use linux and you could even use tcp/ip packets in a Wi-Fi enviroment to control or simulate an RC. And getting all the telemetry down would not be a problem. Or I could be mistaken? Felipe
