RE: OS 1.20AX Unexplained Flameouts.......>>>
like i said, it's an old engine, kinda hard to find parts for it. i'm a bit lazy too, i'd rather pay $15 for a new carb then take the old one apart and try to find parts. where can i find a carb for a 91ASP? I didn't even think they made those engines any more. Probly do like Taz and get a good 4-stroke for it , either that or stuff a tater in one of the down tubes of the pits muffler on it ( i like that idea ).

RE: OS 1.20AX Unexplained Flameouts.......>>>
it ran great on the bench and on the ground.....more then likely a carb problem as the engine is old. I was wondering if anyone knew weither a carb from an ASP 108 would fit a 91. they are like $15 on Hobby King

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !
i got it at a flea market with engines, servos and batteries. came with 2-.75 GMS 2-strokers and landed kinda fast cause i had to keep the idle up so the engines would't die on me . saved up my beer cans and bought 2 saito 91's in hopes that the lower idle would produce a slower landing. if that don't work i'll cut in some flaps somewhere on it . both engines have been initially started on a test bench and one has been mounted . one more to go and a throttle connection relocation and it's off to the field to fly

RE: Aeroworks Old 100cc Edge 540 T
I went to a local swapmeet ( Georgetown Texas ) and saw a nice looking edge with some other planes that looked really nice. i left my girlfriend at the plane just incase the owner came buy to ask how much they wanted and who made it. i went to the front desk that was at the entry door to event and asked if they knew who owned it, they replied no but that i could use the PA mic to ask everyone in the building. i had no response,so i went back to the plane . upon getting there i notice an eldery gentleman talking to my girlfriend, she said guess what? what? she said you own the plane, i bought it for you ! i asked what did it cost? she said $125! the gentleman said i just want it to go to someone that will fly it. i asked, who made it...he said it's an older Aeroworks QB Edge 540 50cc class. To make a long story short, this weekend will be the maiden flight. i have gotten several planes cheap if not free, thanks to my fellow AMA members that want to give the gift of flight to others, my hat is off to you .
