RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?
ORIGINAL: sea fury I've got a twist and use a saito .72 with a 1x6 or 13x7 apc prop. any larger four stroke will definitely be overkill. a .61 2 stroke would probably be too much. mine wieghs almost 6 pounds, but will still hover at half throttle with either prop. btw, i use 20% nitro fuel. mostly just a preference. better idle and runs cooler.
Mine with a Saito 56 hovers at a bit over half thottle with a 12x8 I only run 5% Nitro though, its pretty cool. Wow!, any larger than a .72 will rip the front off! pcinc: Chuck that Magnum on a Mojo and then try vert mate[;)][:D]

I think you are Right Tony. I have read the same elsewhere about them being discontinued. To bad as they seemed to fly well. Didnt Personally see one, but watched a fair few videos. Oh Well....Still the Chinn Boxxer for all the bipe lovers[8D]. I guess it was the price and maybe looks that didnt sell them well?

RE: Popped a glow plug, a grab in my motor. what do i do?
Yes it was in a power panel. They are right next to each other and i wasnt concnrating. The element was missing, so i took the head off and flushed it with fuel into a bowl. I got all the pieces i believe out. I did this a few times then ran the motor. There was also a few pieces in the muffler. Its fine now, i put 4 more tanks through it, then put it on my Katana profile and she flew great. Thanks for the help guys, apreciate the fast responce aswell![8D]

Popped a glow plug, a grab in my motor. what do i do?
G'day Guys, I just bought a new motor...vmax52.....and its been running fantastic for me. Great power on my 6th tank of fuel. Unfortunatly i accidently plugged a glow plug into 12v and popped my glow plug. I have done this once of twice before and not had a problem. So i replaced my Enya #3 with a new one and turned it over once. That when it grabbed. What do i need to do to fix this?. I havent pulled a motor apart before except for taking the head off, but not taking piston out and that. Any tips on what i should do. Thanks in advance. Owen

RE: Goldberg Ex-Treme Edge 540 ARF
ORIGINAL: DFWS Charrua, Is it a brick like everyone says? The specs for this profile are almost the same as the Edge 540 profile from Extreme Flight!! DFWS
It wont be a brick until you fly a 4-4.5 lbs profile with a .46, the wingloading difference will leave you jelous, trust me[:D]. The Extreme Flight edge will come out lighter than the GB Edge, and wont need 61 to give great flight performance. If you have the money, a ExtremeFlight edge will be much better over the GB Edge, and you wont have to use a .61+ Good luck! Owen

After 35 yrs he knows better. Sorry you got hurt juzplanekrazy but perhaps we can keep someone else from doing the same thing thank you for posting this. I plan on giving this to our safety officer. RE: Just got AFPD: How to improve realism
Yeah, but the sim is different because theres no fear factor, i also am the worlds best pilot......on the sim, i can transfer all into real life...just a lil bit higher[:D]. They arnt excactly the same, a little bit of adjusting and they get close, but no sim will ever get the same as real flying. They arent to far off getting it nailed though are they[;)].

RE: Pro-Cap
John, yet another question[8|] ... With putting the wing into the fuse, Once you'v laminated the wings on the Cap, at 12 mill thick they are to thick for the 9 mill gap in the fuse to get them through. I thought you could just widen the gap in the fuse..but then it would be lose at the front. How do i go about this? The edge manual you posted above tells me to do this: 38. Take a scrap of foam and slide it along the wing cutout to perfectly size it. When satisfied, slide the wing into place. Center the wing and then push it forward into the LE notch. Square the wing up to the fuselage by moving the TE tab into the wing cutout. TIP: When sliding the wing into place, use the edge of the table as a support for the lower half of the fuselage. But it still ends up being 3 mill to small.. Could you please explain to me how to do this?, sorry about this, but i dont want to screw my kit up[:o] Thanks Owen

Pro-Cap
John, Just like to say that the quality of the depron in this kit is fantastic, and the laser cutting is incredible, so clean! Just a few questions though. I cant find the pull/pull cables, are they in a separate bag? Can i run a single HS-81 for ailerons?, would it be to hard to do that, or should i just go grab another servo from the LHS? Thanks! Owen
