Mix Free IMAC planes for G3.5
I have downloaded many planes for my g3.5 sim, but it all of the them have mixing issues like rudder to elevator/rudder to aileron, and as I’m trying to practice IMAC sequences (I’m just getting into the whole IMAC thing) I feel like I’m teaching myself bad habits as I have to manually correct for the aircraft pulling in KE while doing pt and slow rolls. I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to where or how I might be able to download an IMAC plane to my sim that would fly just like one in a competition, which would be w/ my X9303 having mixed out all the bad traits and everything. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

RE: OMP Fusion 3D build
Quick question in regards to the placement of the anti-rotation dowels. From the instructions I think they go in the two outside holes (the middle hole is where the bolt goes to secure the wings?) please correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: Why you love the OMP Fusion?
ORIGINAL: Gringo Flyer
ORIGINAL: wind junkie We have 2 Fusions in my club that have filled the noses with Gorilla glue so they will better absorb vibrations from the Saito 125s. We drilled 2 holes in the font ends (top engine beam area, bottom area). Mix about 4 oz glue with a tiny bit of water and use an empty epoxy squeeze bottle to ration the glue into the two areas through the holes. Plug any open areas up to the wing tube area with masking tape to contain the glue as it expands. It should expand to just beyond the front of the wing. After squirting in the glue, masking tape shut the holes and lay the plane on its nose for 8 hours so it will fill up the nose and gravity will help it get to all the nooks and crannies. You'll add some weight with this method, but it's a lot easier than the alternative of opening up the inside. Another area to consider is the alternate battery area on the lower left front side. You may want to put a lite ply cover over this area after removing covering so you can glue the perimeter well.
I will be building this plane next month with a Saito 125 so I am interested in what you guys have to say about reinforcing the nose. After reading this suggestions I am still not quite sure what you are talking about. What spaces are you filling exactly? Isnt the fuse solid already? I assume you are talking about beefing up an already built plane. If its a new build how would I go about reinforcing the fuse?
Since I have the kit version, I won't have to worry about reinforcing the nose then, is that correct?

JR X9303 2.4GHz Transmitter Case
I want to get a transmitter case for the JR X9303 2.4 but with the antenna it might be kind of hard. So I was wondering what current owners are using or any suggestions. I know that Spektrum has a case for 2.4GHz radios but its not due out till like Dec. according to Horizon so...does anybody have the transmitter specs w/ the antenna extended? Any help/recomendations would be awesome. Thanks

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!
Hey guys maybe you could give me a little help. I'm considering this plane but not sure i measuer up to is abilities. I started flying about 2years ago on a trainer. I'm a teenager so i don't have a ton of money, but i was able to purchase a 3d foamie which I practice with now. I can fly 3d pretty well on the sim, ie harriers, hovers, and almost have the torque roll and rolling harrier mastered. I can fly the basic IMAC pattern and thats really where i want to go with a plane like this. Its a big step up, but due to my limited funds, (saving for college and everything else) i wanted a plane that will last me a while, I could continue perfecting my skill with and then be able to compete with. If you guys who've had experience with this plane, maybe you could give me some suggestions. Thanks a lot!

RE: what is the current top 3d plane?
I'm looking for a plane that will freestyle...like do pattern and 3D (I'm not an expert pilot). Thats why I've been looking at the Fusion. I did go see the vid for the 65in Yak 55 and it looked pretty capable in the pattern department. Is this the one that will be avalible on ARF in a couple of months? I would love to hear some input on these planes Thanks!

Chinn Yak
I saw that Extreme Flight was going to be coming out with the Chinn Yak. I'm interested and would love to hear about it from people that have experience with the airplane. Especally if it can freestyle well or if it's mainly geared for 3D hucking. Thanks

RE: Futaba or JR
Thanks guys! I really appreciate all the help. I'm a still learning 3D pilot with asperations to go to bigger scale gassers for 3d and aerobatics. My question would be how many channels would be recomended? I know that JR and Futaba both have very nice 9channel radios but do I need more like possibly the JR 10x of the Futaba 12 channel? Thanks again

Futaba or JR
I have the Futaba 6EXA and was looking to upgrade to a more advanced radio. I had heard a lot of great things about JR so I was looking at the new X9303 2.4GHz or the 10x, also the new 12x that is due out this fall. I also have people telling me how the Futaba radios are also great, and the one I have as performed flawlessly so I was looking at the new 12 FGA 2.4GHz. I know this question

RE: Rate Settings for 3D
Thanks guys for all the help. I've got a foamy with HS55 for the elevator and ailerons and S75 for the rudder. The S75 has like a 3/4 arm on it and the HS55 have a 1/2 arm. The 6EXA will not go any higher on D/R then 100% and I have the EPA maxed at 120% Should I get longer servo arms because the one on the S75 allows for some pretty good rudder throw, or is there a way I can fix it through the radio. Thanks again

Rate Settings for 3D
I'm trying to set the rates on my radio for lots of 3D(I have the Futaba 6EXA and the two aileron servos are mixed for flaperons) I have all the recommended control arms and horns. I'm just not sure how to achieve maximum deflection... I have the D/R set at 100%(the top end limit) and I'm still not getting much deflection. Should I adjust the EPA? What is the best method

RE: HOW-To..3D maneuvers
Maybe somebody could help me out here. I'm not quite sure how to do a harrier in a lot of wind. I can harrier in little wind but when it kicks up I have a really hard time. The plane tends to want to pich up into a hover. I'm not quite sure how to maintain the harrier. Any help would be great.
