RE: Meister Scale P 47 - step by step
Hi Mirce yes mate,, been hearing that the weather over your way is only good for polar bears or snow plow's the guns look good, are you going to put some smaller tube down inside to get the inner riffle size, i had doubled up some alui tube to get this look and sanded the ends to get the slight rounded look of the guns, and doing the same with screwing them in to prevent transport damage. with the landing light you have made are you running your link arm off the flap servo ? or how are you getting the throw on the light to get it out at 90 %

RE: Meister Scale P 47 - step by step
thanks Mirce your answers are always very informative and in deapth i have a few MVVS motors and am very happy with them and give alot of power , i have the Evolution 80 and my mate has the MVVS 80 that we are both putting in Ziroli P47 from my findings they put out a bit more power than the DA 85 so that is why i chose this motor plus i have others as advised. plus my mate has the Mvvs 58 in a Zero that he advised pulled harder than a DA 60 i like your friends "machine work",, your build is very good and is giving me some great ideas and i am sure to all the others whatching aswell.. good luck with the ZDZ motor keep up the excellent work

RE: New ESM butcher bird....
thanks n8622t I had just checked the width of the aerovate 50cc twin and it is 220mm accross plug tips in width , so this would be a tight fit but may just fit in the cowl, thanks for the info on cowl size also ta 152 @ ( 125mm ) the red scheme jv44 really does stand out and it is plan to see why some of the die hard boys are bashing it , but it will stand out in any colour sky and is an outhentic colour scheme. it could always be painted over to your personal taste if its not what you want. there is heaps of referance on the d9 and different scheme's to be found. maybe these will come out in the signiture colour series later or could be ordered as un/painted ?

RE: New ESM butcher bird....
hi boys this new bird is going to be a winner for esm , well at least with us d9 lovers when will we get some spec's on the cowl size ? looking at the kmp site , i wonder if there aervate 50cc twin will fit in there ? be different with a twin sound or with custom exhaust.

RE: Pica FW 190 D9 wing build
hi everybody very nice aircraft shown here, i would also like to know the brand of wheel/tyre as it looks very scale if only the hub center could be larger. i have just ordered some smooth willams bros wheels through tower as the hub looks scale and the wheel thickness is about right. reading back there is a post that the pica has flaps. i have had my dave platt kit since the early eightys and it has no flaps so they must have added these into the plans after dave passed it on. i had the wing framed up and the fuse half made years ago and packed it away until i have come back into the hobbie now, so am getting back into it. i also have the TF kit in my shed store that i got just before they stoped making them so i will also use these plans for up dates on flaps etc.

RE: Lado retracts, do the really exist?
hi guys I have not checked this link for sometime now and there is some hot stuff going down here. I have had a few retact sets from doug in the passed and they did take some time to get to me, but when i got them i was very happy as most customers that have received them to date. But i am in the same boat now as TOMAPAWA has posted , charged through pay pal months ago for the retro fit retracts and nothing. Got 1 email back afew months ago saying they would be shiped asap but nothing has come to date and no other emails i have sent since then have been answered. So i must agree the customer service sucks. ( bloody good product but bloody bad service )

RE: Top Flite P-47D Thunderbolt ARF .60-.91: Building & Mods
Sorry for your loss with the typhoon you would have been pretty peved off about only 3 flights of it!. Hopfully this p47 will be a good flyer for you. I have just put a h9p47 together and flew it last week," not a bad flyer " nothing flash that i have done, left the retracts in it as came with the model and put a rcv sp90 in it. Flew pretty scale like as these motors are not a power house as it runns out of steam on a large loop but looks good spinning a 4 blade prop. I did looked at one of these top flight 47s but have a few of these ( p47s) on the go at the present time . 68" span that i got from a importer that i have been putting together and adding scale mods to and lado retracts over the last year or so and it must be very close to the top flight model as i have brought a engine cowl and a few other parts from tower to dress it up with and the parts are almost the same in size/shape , but i always seem to have another more important project so that goes back in my store room. also a esm 47 and the large brother (top flight kit) of your plane so i have been following this thread and picking up ideas as we all do. thanks greg
