RE: Foxcub sport jet
Here's mine, maidened today. Flies really nicely with a JJ-1400 but comes in too hot to be regarded as an ideal trainer - three go-arounds ending in an outlanding (I'm usually pretty decent at landings). Kit was not the best - poor control surface hardware (totally replaced), wing rods didn't fit the wing tubes, wing tubes misaligned inside the wing, rear undercarriage way, way too flimsy. (Yet in other areas quite suitably constructed.) My kit came damaged in transit, with a smashed canopy, turtle deck, hatch and wing tips. For all these reasons it took longer than it could have to build. I suggest the CG be about 10mm in front of the wing tube - bit different from the published one.

RE: How To Build RC Jet Turbine Exhaust Tubes
BJ I'm in Australia too. Did you find a place to get hold of 316 at a reasonable price? I want to build a bifurcated pipe for a Yellow F4. Tam makes them but it'll cost about $650 by the time it crosses the Pacific, so I thought I'd roll my own. Maybe we could share costs for a sheet of SS if you havent already built your pipe. Gowrie
