RE: RANT: The
ORIGINAL: Gizmo-RCU Think of the space it would take to have large numbers of slow selling items in stock forever? I know my space is limited, it's about business choices, if there is little or no profit why do it?
Thats called good business sence in my book. We have to do the same thing in our business. Some things just have to be fabricated after they get too out dated in any form.

RE: Larger Revolver
I personally would go with Aeroworks with those two choices but also you should look at the Pilot RC planes on the Chief Aircraft's website also. The Pilot RC planes are awesome in my opinion. I have the Pilot RC Extra 260 30% and I love it!! DLE 55 for power. However, their 30cc planes are great also and are more affordable too. Good Luck www.chiefaircraft.com Check this out.... http://www.chiefaircraft.com/prc-ext26-12.html

RE: Larger Revolver
ORIGINAL: mach2 I think im gonna save my smoke system for the 30cc MX2. I dont wanna spend all that time getting everything installed (plus the cost of the system), and then have a system that I can only pump smoke for like 4 passes. The biggest tank that I have been able to fit in the Rev is an 8 oz tank. Watching ''knockoffs'' videos of his smoke system with a 4 oz tank only lasted a few seconds. It was out in two quick passes. And it wasnt making  a whole lot of smoke either. So Im gonna get like a 12oz tank or bigger for the MX2 and have lots of smoke time. That plane will have lots of open space. The Rev with smoke would be cool, but I dont think the end result would be worth the effort and cost. <img alt='''' src=''http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/disappointed.gif'' />
Now thats thinkin smart!! It would be best of you just keep your opinions to yourself unless you can provide a truthful situation the next time. As a result of your being caught in a lie, now you are doing the next best thing to point the finger at someone. RE: Top Flite Giant Corsair ARF Disappeared.
ORIGINAL: Whistling Death
ORIGINAL: skillet92 Not sure as i understand this. The 60 size one is 399 so i bet the GS version is going to be in the 699 range. Not much less if it comes in at that price than the H9 P-47.
ORIGINAL: Whistling Death
ORIGINAL: MinnFlyer For example, suppose H-9 had a giant corsair with a 2-piece wing being prototyped and saw that the TF (which might be coming out around the same time) had a 3-piece wing. They could quickly re-design to be more competitve.
If the Hanger 9 P-47 price is any indication of what an H9 Corsair would cost then then they need not worry about being competitive.

Since the Hanger 9 giant P-47 is $750.00 I figure a giant gull wing H9 Corsair is likely to be $799.00+. Not going to competitive to a TF giant Corsair. I figure the TF Corsair is going to be around $699.00. A $700.00 TF giant Corsair is a huge bargain over a $750.00 H9 P-47.
I'm with him on that!! Makes perfect since!! Sill can't get over the $749.00 price of the H9 P-47...[:-]
+1 on that issue!! I just can't see them justifying that price. Either way, I will be looking for TF to come out with this Corsair. I have been holding off while looking and reading all I can about which one I wanted. I have a project in mind that I want to complete with a special person in my life to pay tribute to. My Uncle was a flight instructor in Pensacola FL teaching Navy Pilots to land and take off on aircraft carriers flying the F4U. I am currently doing some reasearch to try and find his unit/squadron info so I can duplicate his exact aircraft. So, with this in mind I want to have a Corsair that not only will look good but also fly well. If anyone out there is a historian that might have any info on him or know where to get it, please let me know. I know he was in Pensacola FL around the 1942 - 1945 time frame. His name is LT Commander H. Warrington "Spike" Sharp and was stationed in Norfolk as well for some time after Pensacola. He left the Navy, practiced law and became the juvenile court judge of Norfolk VA. This is the time where the famous saying was being used.... "Here comes the Judge" Thanks in advance for your help. RE: Is Tower Hobbies Crazy
Whatever guys..... you have no idea what my issue was. They didn't take any interest in making my issue right and I will not use them any longer. I have been in this hobby flying and building airplanes since 1977 and I have spent lots and lots of money with them. I'm glad they take care of you and I wish you the best with your future purchases with them. I'm in the business of taking care of customers in a retail enviroment and I do what is needed to take care of our customers! They are the ones that allow me to enjoy such a wonderful hobby. We are enjoying a wonderful growth in our business over the last several years and its because we take care of our customers. There is not that many people out there that can say that in todays economy. Will they lose sleep or huge $$ over me not doing business with them? Nope! And you know what, they don't care either! I'm just another number to them in the lost customer report. [8|]

Horizon also buys some common things from their suppliers and marks them up without checking the ''Street price'' and making a judgement call about it's marketability first. The smart shopper has looked around and knows what the prices are at several sources. You cannot trust even your favorite discount store. You need to be aware of prices.
