if u use BLUE u jst get ur screw driver and take em out... it only holds so the vibration wont make it come out.... if u use RED u might have to heat it with a lighter before removing it... I use blue on all metal to metal screws and I havent lost a single screw on any of my 3 rcs....

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread
hey guys.. I just got a tsunami... I got a tornado and a volcano.... I didnt really liked the tsunami suspension... has anyone put the volcano arms on the tsunami so its converted to ball joint suspension??? I was thinking about doing it but I wanted to see if any of u has done it already and how it worked out.... another thing is tht I cant shift into second... its adjusted to shift as fast as it can go before the screw hits the gear and still no luck.... the engine is leaned out and new....

RE: Tornado S-30
the one on the center is the one tht will take the 2speed clutch out... the one on the side is the adjustment... the more tight it is the longest it takes to shift.... it should be about flush with the metal.. locktite it before u loose it.. put just enough and becareful not to lock the spring inside.... If ur adjustment screw is already about flush with the silver 2speed clutch u should be fine... did u lean ur engine up after break in??? this might be the problem... if so try leaning it out

RE: Tornado S-30
the s30 is great.... jst remember to remove the 2 speed clutch adjustment screw and thread lock it...or u will loose it like a lot of people in here... and be careful when u put the thread lock so u wont lock the spring tooo like I did... just put a small drop only to make sure the screw doesnt come out....

I have the s3003... I personally dnt like it... I use it jst because I have no other one and still havent had time to get another one in... the stock one on the volcano is better than the s3003... I would go to the local hobby shop and ask them for a high torque servo....

RE: HELP!!! sh.18
srry my mistake... its a tornado.... the tunning problem has nothing to do with the trans not shifting because the problem started before.... I knw its tuned well enough to shift... I m using a OS A3 plug... the spring and ball u talk about is in with the grub screw or in another place??? I had lost my grub screw while running.. is the spring and ball held by the grub? cause if it is I lost it when it came of... if not I have no idea... I will try loosening it tomorrow cause I put it tight... about the spring and ball.. where are they located?? thanks...

HELP!!! sh.18
ok... I got my volcano followed the break in steps as posted on redcat website... in the beggining I could get it to tune perfect.... until the glow plug finally went bad... I replaced it and since then I cant get it to tune properly... the engine starts and runs fine but I m not getting the same performance any tips to get a good tune... or steps on where to start and how to proceed... I m used to the infinity engine which has only one needle so I m kind of lost with the sh.... also... my car is not shifting (not due to tunning.. problem started about 3 tanks before) the car is stuck I think on first gear... I checked and it was missing the adjusment screw the one thts on the side of the 2 screws on the trans I put a new screw but still wont shift... any help??? thanks....

RE: Tornado S-30
the sh.18 has more than enough power... its really fast......... I had some problems with the transmission.. One adjustment screw came of and it wont shift anymore....I put another one but havent tried to see if its adjusted right..... and another con is I cant find better tires for it and the stock are gone already with like 10 tanks after break in....but its definately worth it.... tons of fun and cant complain about the small problems... part of the hobby is maintenance... for me at least its fun...
