multiple motor setup and wiring
Hey Guys, Can someone take a few short minutes and explain to me how to simply hook up 2 motors for one system? I have always worked with one model, one motor... however I'd like to know the wiring behind having two motors run together. Do you need multiple ESC's??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Ghost-

RE: Multiple Motors, One Radio
Hey Tim, I forgot to mention that the blimp will be lifting a small mechanism that releases leaflets (coupons for places around school) over the crowd. Based on the numbers I saw, the lift of the helium is not sufficient. I haven't decided on the type of motors yet, is one type easier to implement for this system than the other? Thanks for your reply. -Ghost

Multiple Motors, One Radio
Hey Guys, I am currently at school constructing a blimp for our sporting events primary for advertising and that sort of thing. I have always worked with one motor, one esc. However this time, I will require potentially 5 motors in order to generate the lift and control that I am looking for. I have a lot of questions regarding how to wire all of these components together: 1: Do I need multiple ESCs? Some motors will simply need to be turned on and off, not variable speed. 2: Can I fit more than one motor on one channel? Say I have 2 motors that I want to run at the same time (the ones which would simply turn on and off), can I operate both from one switch? 3: What size battery would you recommend for a five motor system? Assuming 2 of the five run full time, the other 3 in only short spirts. Thanks for your help guys, I'm looking forward to hearing from you! -Ghost-
