The higher head speed sounds great its a lot faster than my raptor 30, but if i decide to slow it down will i loose tail control ? recommended settings for normal is T 0 80 100 p 35 50 95 is this good for basic sport flying?

trex 450 sa setup
I set up my new 450 with the recommended pitch and throttle settings, on the first test the head speed seems a little to fast for basic test flying. is it ok to tone it down a little? should i adjust the pitch, throttle or both. 3550 kv motor 13 tooth pinion. thanks

trex 450 se gyro?
I am setting up a trex 450SA for sport flying with some new and used parts . do you think I could use my old JR G460T gyro? If yes does anyone have any set up tips.

what about fataba s3151 servos i am using them in all locations because they came with my radio i know i have to upgrade the tail. is there a good fataba tail servo for sport flying that costs less than the 9254? i have a stock 30 v2 tt39 gy401

i know there different, but can you cut down the regular link ends to make a double link end? i have a lot of extras and i don't want to place a order for one part.

wow what a great thread. I never made it to disney when I was a kid but I did have a cox P40 warhawk. I can remember my father starting it at the kitchen table (he did everything at that table) then he would take it outside so I could try to fly it. I would plant the cone in the dirt before I made it ounce around. I'm trying my hand at helicopters now but I would like to find a old p40 for my collection.

Thanks Barr, I will do that if I can find someone local. guick update I have been reading "raptor technique" and it has helped alot. I cleaned out the fule tank and installed a new os 8 plug , runs good now. one step closer to hover thanks again.

this is a great thread. I just picked up a raptor 30 v2 w/tt 39 pro (used) and I can't get it started. I don't Know what glow plug is in it. I removed and tested it. Looks like it's working good. I am going to pick up a new one at my LHS. any tips on glow type and needle settings would be great. Thanks

Read the WALKERA DF4 thread. It is the same heli. The quality may not be as good but the setup and hopups are the same.
