ORIGINAL: Tony Iannucelli To Topspin: When you go into your account on the Hobby King web site, IT TELLS YOU HOW MANY ORDERS YOU HAVE MADE, AND IT LISTS EVERY ORDER, AND WHAT YOU BOUGHT FROM THEM, the dates, when shipped, etc. You really should try ordering before you jump in and make a comment. Tower Hobbies also lists your orders. You can check each order going back many (not sure how many) years and they also provide a list of EVERY ITEM you have purchased from them. Computers are wonderful. Tower never goofed with me either, in 37 years...
No, we are TERRIFIC ACCOUNTANTS !!!! ;)

RE: Most Blatant
Did I ever mention I've place almost 40 orders with Hobby King and never been dissapointed ??? I only purchase batteries and smaller electronics lol. Horizon and amain are still my favorite suppliers of products and best customer service. From what I've heard HK has no CS after purchase. Just you get what you get. But I've always been satisfied with my purchases. Pay up HK !!!!! I only wish I could get paid for promoting what I already buy but I don't :(

RE: AMSOIL SABER 100:1 PRE MIX SYNTHETIC 2-CYCLE OIL AND AMSOIL QUICK SHOT FUEL ADDITIVE
Jay Loftin gives AMSOIL a bad name while trying to give it a good one. Scary stuff :P Anyone can become a AMSOIL "dealer" lol. I doubt there's any sponsorship there. I actually do run the saber oil in my DA engines but usually around a 80:1 mix because I like to lean on the side of cautious :P The reason I run the stuff is because a friend and his father have ran the stuff for years in their Chevy's and even tore one down after 300,000 miles to see how it looked and were rather impressed. I still broke my DA in on 30:1 lawnboy. Being able to run 100:1 doesn't suprise my at all. I mean not long ago oil changes were around every 3000mi and now they are pushing somewhere between 10,000 and 25,000 depending on the type of oil used and filtration system. As for 50:1 oils I also love to run Belray H1R.

RE: JCP commercial should be pulled
ORIGINAL: acdii Every one who thinks this commercial is OK is an idiot and should leave this hobby. Or better yet line up so we can fly a heli into your head. Dumbest thread. Geez. You do realize that even those little micro helis can cleave a nasty cut. Go read the AMA handbook since it's obvious some people here have not, pay particular attention to section B line 1!  At least some people here understand just how bad a commercial like this is. Oh how cute he's chasing daddy with flying knives!  CG or not, its not something that kids should see. My kids watch me fly my planes and helis, and I dont chase anything but air with them, and I sure as hell dont want to hear them say hey daddy go chase mommy with that. I made damn sure when they saw that commercial that they fully understood you do not do something like that, ever. Those who condone this, go back to your little world and leave this for those who do care about our hobby and see that this is a bad commercial to be shown on TV.
You go read it. I'm to busy chasing people with computer generated helicopters. I just destroyed a city and kill a few hundred innocent people to. Ban all playstations and xbox's !!!!

RE: A123 battery too much for 4.8 V rated servos.
I contacted Futaba directly about running a 7.4v lipo to their rx after explaining I only needed to send a signal and not power servos directly (giant actuators where being used) and they said no problem. They said it's the servos you need to worry about and not the rx. Flew like that for 10 flights without any issues.

RE: what caused the turbine jet crash??!!!!!
If it happened right when the flaps where deployed and it was the first flight of the day my #1 guess is someone failed to test the flaps and only one deployed. As for the reason why only one deployed you'll never know for sure. It looked to have enough airspeed despite the winds. Sadly, you'll never know what happened for sure.

RE: Purchasing a Kingtech
I'm leaning tords the 170 I think. I still need to get a AUW minus the turbine but my install would be in a CAI Raptor. Yeah old blast from the past. I know guys have flown them in the 25+lb range and I've seen a video on youtube running it with a P-160. Figured the extra bit of power cant hurt right :)

Purchasing a Kingtech
What is the best recommendation for purchasing a kingtech ? I've seen that Dreamworks says that they will work on them in house but didn't notice them being in stock ? Will Kingtech be at Florida jets this year ? Debating between a the 140 and 170 but hearing pretty good things so far about both.
