RE: JetCat V3 kero plug blown after only 34 starts - Normal??
ORIGINAL: madmodelman Once you've used a kerostart you would never go back to old fashioned glow plugs!
Well, I've used kero start both on my BMT (which, as far as I'm concerened, had the BEST kero-start system ever) and on one of my Jetcats ... and I still quite happily use propane start for most of my aircraft. Nothing wrong with it IMO. But then, I still use Nicads, 72 Mhz etc ... I only change when I see the need, rather than to keep up with the Joneses [;)]

RE: When is Enough Enough
Well Dustin, you were right and I was wrong [X(] ... when hard push comes to violent shove, apparently BV will indeed put customers ahead of rep's. Although I'd much rather not have seen this whole situation develop in the first place, I am glad to have been proven wrong on this point, and I give kudos to BV on his stance.
ORIGINAL: Shui It's good to know all those years I was in ''the camp'' selling jets for someone and flying my butt off, winning awards, Top Gun's, etc that I could do no wrong. Suddenly I'm like a bad guy? C'mon now. I'm flattered by the constant watchover I'm receiving, obviously someone is bored or simply misses me ;)
Have you ever noticed how little girls go out of their way to be as catty as possible to the little boys that they secretly have a huge crush on ? They figure that ANY attention they can get from the object of their love, must be better than being invisible and ignored by the one person they really want to get down & dirty with. [X(]

RE: Bandit ARF...Any bad points.
The only steering issues I've had with any Bandit, is that if you DON'T hold in a fair amount of up elevator as soon as you start rolling, you may get some really vicious left and right swings. A trailing link nose-gear helps, or stay with the regular gear but hold in that up right from the very start.

Can you guys explain a bit more about the brand, method of usage, etc of the gel coat ? Although I've done several DIY tanks, cowls, drop-tanks etc. in the past, I've not used gel-coat at all and I'd like to learn a bit more... Thanks for sharing, Gordon
