RE: BVM brakes locked up ??
ORIGINAL: jason Hate to disagree but I really don't think there will be a problem with the wheel brakes. I've been using BVM brakes for 12 years now and I have never ever had one fail. I'm sure it will be something to do with the U.P valve. Jason
I totally agree with Jason on this one. +1

My DX18 has a built in sequencer. I have it installed in my F-100 and it works fantastic. No more extra electronic gadgets for me.

RE: BVM F-100
Gary, Your hot section is looking great, I hope to see you next week at RT.66 jets. You are more than welcome. I'm glad i could help you with your first flight on your F-100 and i hope to see you fly it more often. If you are going to do the candy stripe color scheme do it in orange man. Cause the yellow scheme is my first choice on my second Hun that i will hopefully be going to pick-up at the end of september. David, Here are a couple of more pictures that i used when i did my F-100 hot section. Rainer, I'm sorry to hear about your loss of that stunning F-100. I'm glad your going to get right back on that horse and build yourself a new one.

RE: JR 8911 vs 8711
I have been using them in my BVM F-100 for the past two years and i have never had any issues with them at all. I am using a Spektrum 12120 power safe receiver running on two 5000 mh 7.4 volt lipos with out any kind of regulators. It's nice to have that K.I.S.S factor in the plane.

RE: Yellow P-47 build question
Tony, I would think that the hysol glue should be more than adequate to hold in the mounts. As long as you did the proper sanding of the glass and cleaned the area up with rubbing alcohol before you glued them in it should be fine. That is all i did on a P-38 of there's about three years ago and they are still holding on strong.

RE: F-100
Bruno, I have used all JR servo's in my F-100, they are DS8911HV's on all major control surfaces, DS378HV's on the slats, and DS390HV's for all the air valves in the system. This thread is 5 Years old so i don't know if Bob will remember what he put in this Hun. I'm sure they were what ever BVM lists in the instructions which back then when this was built it would have been the JR DS8611 or DS8611a for all the major controls and the i think 3121's for slats and i think 358's for all air valves.

RE: F-100
roger, I had no problems fitting the 8911HV's in to any of the servo openings. I just had to do a little adjusting to get them to fit. I did this to be able to run a straight High voltage system with out using any voltage regulators. My set-up is using the spectrum 12120 receiver with two 7.4 volt 2cell 4400 Mah batteries and no Regulator's. I also used the 378HV's and the 358HV's and it has been a super solid set-up.

RE: F-100
Hi Bruno, If you are only going to run the system on 6volts these are the servos that you should be able to use with no problems at all. The DS8411'S will work for the Flaps ,Ailerons,Elevators,Rudder & Nose gear steering. The thin wing 378's will work for the slats, and the 368's for all the valves for the gear, doors, brakes and speed board.

RE: Need some help from the F-14 pilots out there
A plastic model kit should give you a pretty good idea of markings and placements.

RE: DX18 and telemetry with jetcat....?
Kirk, I was just out flying with Chris Huhn yesterday and i believe that you will start seeing the Jet Cat telemetry stuff start to show up in the HH OR Spectrum web sites soon. As they just did the recent up date for the DX18 radio as of yesterday. Like DavidR has said i'm sure they wanted to make sure everything worked perfectly in the development stages before they released any product. Chris also said that with this recent up date you should be seeing much better Counts on your data logger after a flight which we did see on chris's ultra bandit yesterday after he did a flight with the update installed in his radio.

RE: Dean Cutshall’s F-100 F
Rainer, That is an awesome looking F model you have produced there. I have a D model that i have been flying and i'd like to know what you used for the finish on you model it looks fantastic. Is it Flite-Metal maybe? I will be doing a second D model here in another month or so and i have used the Flite-metal on the first one and will probably use it on the next one also. The yellow and white candy stripe is my next color scheme.

You just need to get in touch with jerry at pro-mark or rallie at tailormade decals with all your information and they should be able to make what ever you need. It's hard to list every single decal that they can provide to you so just give them a call.
