NOT To use as a personal page to post your own videos that have ZERO to do with the subject, and to make innacurate, snide comments Why dont both of you juvenile "DUDES" go to My Space and stay there?

RE: Thunder Tiger Raptor E550 Electric Helicopter
Last post here-Dumped the Thunder Power for a Bantam E-Station BC 6-works flawlessly, easy instructions, very user friendly Turned down the gain on the JR 500t,reset con-rod lengths-adjusted gyro gain at the radio(Spektrum DX7),set head speed at about 1700,set blade tracking and just like that,Im locked in to a hands free hover. I think I could learn to love this bird!

THanks again-I traded the MRC charger for a Thunder Power TP1010c Super Charger and now Im waiting for the TP 210 balancer to come in. I finally got everything together today and started the chopper.Everything was cool till I powered up and the tail went nuts-Im using a JR 500t gyro and I think I need to go over the settings cuz I had ZERO tail control. Ive been flying helis on and off since 1990 but this electric setup has me feeling like I know NOTHING!

RE: Thunder Tiger Raptor E550 Electric Helicopter
THanks!! I just got a MRC Super Brain and Im using a "Common Sense RC" balancer but Im really lost when it comes to the care and feeding of Li-Po's Do you know of any good books or dvds geared towards beginners ? I just cant grasp the whole principal of these batery packs, chargers and balancers. I hook my balancer, which handles up to 6 cells,to my 6S li-po pack and only 3 lights come on.Do I now just go ahead and plug the pack into the charger? Will it balance automatically?what settings should I use? Will it automatically shut off? WILL THEY BLOW UP?? as you can see,I NEED HELP!!! Thanks Joe

RE: Thunder Tiger Raptor E550 Electric Helicopter
got mine a few days ago-build is going well,as all TT Raptors do-however,instructions are far from the best and would more than likely be a problem for a new ,or limited experience ,builder. I got mine with the TT motor and esc along with a Thunder Power 6 cell LI-PO. Ill be flying by the end of the week and will give a detailed report,as well as a revue, soon afterwards

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies
Im running it on a Dell,Inspiron E1505 with P-4,Core 2 Duo 2 gig processor,1 gb Mem,upgraded ATI Radeon x-1400 card with 256 mem. Just a note FYI-it hiccups a lot when I run off the battery-if Im plugged in its smooth although it seems that when I run an aircraft for the first time,it loads and runs slower and stutters a bit. After that everything speeds up and runs smoother.

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies
We have discovered that the computer at the LHS has a bad memory chip-it will be replaced tomorrow and we expect to install the program with no problem It is running smoothly on my Dell laptop-I brought it to the LHS today and, while I was working on their system, people were trying it out nonstop for two hours-this program is a BIG HIT I gave my AFPD to my cousin-Im an FS ONE man now Mike and Mike, thanks for your help Joe

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies
Youre a great guy ,Mike, and your help is appreciated.BUT REALLY,dont you think all the directions you just had to give are ridiculous? With any of the other sims, its like plug and play.Dont get me wrong,I LIKE Hanger 9 products and I like flying the airplanes on FS ONE. But Im not here to spend over 200 dollars and then spend most of my time configuring and working the kinks out of someones(ANYONES) new system. I stand by what I said before-This product is not ready to be marketed. It needs LOTS more R&D-If Im having problems with it(computer guru since 1984-COMMODORE 64,now build and sell custom computers)the the average guy will not be happy.

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies
OK,Mike-lets take it as you brought it- I mean slow when you start up or change aircraft-3 installs were not my choice but when the first two failed(planes wouldnt fly-elevator controls reversed)I had no choice 9303 -go thru all the setup and hit finish and it just freezes up
