Which material to use for plug
Hi everyone ........ I'm planning to build a plug for one my own designed jet ,would like to know which isthe best material to construct the plug . As I've some experience with each of the listed materials below but would rather get more opinions in order to keep the plug lasts for a long time and may be producing several molds without getting damage : 1) high density blue foam 2) Minicell high density foam ( use to make cayak and surfing board ) 3) ..... Or should I just stick with regular balsa & plywood method to build up the fuse and then filled up inside with plaster to get the high level of strength ( by doing this ,will the plaster creates lots of heat and distord the shape ) . Money and time consuming are not an issue to me as long as I could get some high quality parts . Any inputs will be welcome and greatly apreciated , Sonny !

Questions with composite wing ...
Hi everyone , I'm building a Ziroli Panther and going to powered it with turbine and now just get to the wings . Due to the tremendous wing loading with turbine powered I intended to build the wings with fully composite .... Would like to know what are the advantages of fully composite or should I just moulded them right out of glass/epoxy and carbon fiber .... Since I'm new to composite stuff ,would like to get as much informations as I could so I can go on and do some experimenting before get into doing the real parts .... What are the difference between reinforced the wing skin with Honeycomb Nomex and Coremats ,what about weight issues and such as structural strength ... Or any other materials to do it with and what are the advantage and disadvantage of them .... Any inputs will be welcome and greatly appreciated , Sonny !

RE: Painting in my garage
You can just add lot of water to the floor before paint and keep the door closed for a day or two ,then use vacuum machine around if desired when everything is dried out .......... Or you can get some plastic from Home Depot hang up to the ceiling and make four sides to form a little room enough for your needs and use vacuum machine for ventilation when spraying ,this is less messy and easy to clean up .
