Double check the all the bolts on the motor, some people have found there's to be loose, therefore causing starting problems.

RE: Firestorm owners- I need your advice!
I'd have to disagree with mammoth the truck handles great and it pulls the front wheels up from any speed, what more power do you need? Maybe he didn't give it a chance? Comparing a buggy to a truck is apples to oranges, BTW.

RE: Firestorm owners- I need your advice!
I'm running o'donnel racing fuel in mine, works great. Engine is very peppy lifts the front wheels with ease. Haven't broken anything yet. Yet being the key word there! I'm also running a hump pack for the reciever and would definately recommend.

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
YA I put a venom 2100mah hump pack in my reciever very quick response, highly recommended! Although I had to modify the plug to get it to plug into the truck, no biggy.

RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
hi I picked up a firestorm a few weeks ago. I really love it, very fast, handles great. This is my first nitro so I can't compare, but I definately don't regret the purchase!
