RE: Great Planes Extra 330L Build
ORIGINAL: OldScaleGuy This picture shows why i wait to finish leading edges until just prior to ready to cover. I slipped yesterday and a finger nail hit the leading edge. Had to learn this one the hard way. [:D]
You can use water to take out that dent. Also do you know how much dihedral the wings have?

RE: Helimax mx 400 no tail control
Problem solve. The mx 400 upgrade T/B holder (red ones) were replaced for some TREX 450 T/B holder. The counterweight on the blade holders really make a difference witch the MX 400 did not have. here is a video of what is happening with the upgrade blade holders http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9CdNZLd3_w

RE: Helimax mx 400 no tail control
I had the t/r drive shaft pulley stripped. I replaced it. Now is the servo that when i spool up and go in a hover it cant move the tail, on the ground without power i am able to move the tail. I already check all the mixes and nothing is on.

Helimax mx 400 no tail control
Hi, I am having a problem with the tail on my mx400, the servo moves the tail freely both sides, when I applied power at certain moment the servo cant move the tail. The gyro is a 401 and the servo is a futaba 9650. I tried a new 401 gyro and a hitec 5084 and still the same. I am running out of ideas for fixing this.

RE: Da props
You should check the balance, they come close but not perfect at least the ones I verify. The Mejzlik 23x8 should give you more thrust. My friend have been using a Mejzlik 23x10 in his extra 260 with good result for IMAC, it does not spool fast but maintain a more constant speed. Give it a try and tell what you like from it. What aircraft do you have?

RE: Brillelli 50 wont idle in the air.
it could be that the air that pass by the carb create a suction and the fuel goes out the carb instead of going in to the engine are you using the velocity stack?

RE: heaviest plane you'd fly precision with a 50cc?
my friend yak weight 21 pound dry with a DA 50 it did fly but it need more power than a DA 50 at that weight the IMAC basic was the only sequence it can fly so to answer your question as Pat Roy state 17 to 18 pounds should be the heaviest to fly precision with a 50cc it also depend on the engine because for example a bme 50 do not have the same power as the DA 50

RE: Which engine for Lanier 87" 540 EDGE?
I know that this one is not on your list brilleli 60, those lanier plane have the tendency to be on the heavy side and they are big for a 50cc , I saw one flying with a fuji 64, good power but not enough for 3D

RE: Best non-carbon prop for a DA-50 in a QQ Yak 54
you could start testing with a NX or Menz 22x10 My friend did a lot of testing with props from Mejzlick 22x10, NX 23x8, MSC 23x8 and finally he is using a Mejzlick 23x10 He decide for imac Mejzlick 23x10 for 3d NX 23x8 he does not have the same plane but selecting a prop depends on the variables silversurfer states above
