RE: Futaba MC 9100A ESC
ORIGINAL: cmoulder I ordered one of these from Tower (OS version) and the programming box. What is the recommended timing for a Pletty Advance? I seem to recall reading 24 deg.
I use 24 as recommended. Henning

RE: Futaba MC 9100A ESC
Jon: what is the weight of your Jive 80 including heat sink, wire with noise filter and full length of cables to the motor and batteries? I assume you well be pretty close to the OS/Futaba ESC at 124 grams. The clamed weight of the Jive 80 on Kontroniks web page is probably added by the marketing department. Wondering if the OS/Futaba ESC works with Plettenberg Adcance 30-10? Henning

Hi Chad, Do you know if Schulze will start producing ESCs for F3A any time soon? With the 32.80KA out of production there are currently no ESCs available with a proportional break, as I know of. I have two Advance motors and only one 32.80KA. The other one went up in flames at the last WC. Regards, Henning

My old 30-10 Evo is currently at service at Plettenberg in Germany for bearing replacement. The motor has approx 500 flights. The main bearing had a ticking sound when I turned the motor by hand. 500 flights without maintenance of the motor is to me acceptable. Regards, Henning
