RE: Using a 3s lipo to power a dc charger
The less available voltaget the charger has, the more current it will pull. This is not the bst idea due to the fact that you need something to power the charger, and a 10A source for 1 hour wont cut it. If your gonna spend $65, spend it on a power supply and a extension cord.

RE: question on pipes
+1 If I run a 2035 pipe on my OPS, the engine produces less power and speed. If I run the 2010 pipe on the OPS, it makes more speed and low end power.

RE: Starting all over again. What Pipe?
ORIGINAL: kman8jr Also i would pick the hyper 9 because parts are mostly at every hobbyshop. kyosho not so much, it's kinda hard to get ahold of kyosho parts=japan, ofna is in california also never broke a part on the ofna's i've owned.
I don't know where to begin about that statement being totally wrong, but I'll try. 1. Kyosho America is based in California also. 2. Not very many shops stock Hyper 9 parts 3. You do know that OFNA does NOT make a product. They import and distribute the Ho Boa Hyper 9.

RE: No Fuel to Cylinder?
Remove the carb and disassemble it. Soak it in denatured alcohol overnight. Before you reassemble, check all the orings and needle valves for any derbis. When assembling, use a light coat of fuel on everything.

RE: 20% to 30% ????
Bring it to a local track soon and try to sell it. Start on the 20, then moving to the 30, is ok. Some say not to go back from the 30 to the 20. I have done it, and noticed little effect, asidde from the power that 30 makes.

RE: SHOW OFF YOUR ENGINE COLLECTION
The Sirio pipe is the same as the Trinity Big Boy pipe sold here in the US. I ran it on my EB Trinity Extech. Was a smooth pipe with about 13min runtime. Has a very aggresive sound to it. Real mean, but you cant really tune it by sound. Need to tune by temp and performance.

RE: Connecting Rod
The backplate is the rear cover. You want the pistom up because there is usually a notch in the backplate for the piston to go into when at the bottom of the stroke. Clean it out using Nitro cleaner, or denatured alcohal. remove the piston and sleeve from the motor and use a marker to reference which way the piston goes in the bore. Also note which way the oil hole in the rod is facing, usually faces towards the hole in the crank. Remove the carb and hold the engine with the back down above a clean rag and flush the bearings until clean. Feel by hand and check if there is ANY grittyness to the bearings, if there is grittyness to them, they need to be replaced. Install the new rod to the piston and reassemble, using either an after run oil, or 2 stroke engine oil. Be generous with the oil to the rear bearing, crank bore, and the piston pin and crank pin.
