RE: savage top speed?
Have you ever ran a Clocked Nova .28 ? If not there's a whole other level up on the Picco's. Been there Done that. Savages aren't top speed machines but its interesting to see how fast you can move 12-13lbs across the parking lot. lol

If "WE" being the north american user's dont know a brand...its NOT Hobby grade...plain and simple...they can claim they are all they want...but from watching a couple video's of Stock Ansmann's and actually taking a look at the truck it reconfirmes my prior statement...its a (edited by mods) that should get along great with other Sub Par quality vehicles out there (red cat Smartech ect ect).... us racer's ARE the market..and if it dosent float our boat....it's guarenteed to sink a misarable death. (there are some exceptions of Oversea small shops that do know what they are doing and make a quality product......but they are far and few in between.)

RE: servos for 1/8 buggy?
1015's Used to Suck Yes, They had a Faulty Top case that would tweek out and take out the gear set. I cant Count how many Gear set's i Threw at 5 or 6 1015's I used to have. YES they fixed the issue with the top cases, But the fact remains they still are capable of 10A+ spike's Just like the Savox's are know to do. So recommending them over the Savox's isn't much of an upgrade for the E racer's out there. You want an Efficient E racer friendly servo with Durability and performance to boot, Just fork the bill and go Hitec 7955. Read the thread's, It IS THE most popular Versatile servo on the market....Run it in throttle Steering....Rudder...Tail LOL where ever you want.

Look at the Aftermarket for the SCTE, Its HUGE !!! Fact, It aint going anywhere Any time soon.

RE: Clockwork modified RB Fire 11 !!
Yes the PL VTR wheels would also work, BUT the one fear I would have would be the little bit of extra stretching involved to get the foams On the rims themselves. If i remember right they were extremely tight on the "revo 3.8's" so I would honestly see if a local buddy has a Unmounted set of VTR kicking around you could test mount with. Id hate to tell you the wrong rim to get.

THey are the PL Revo 3.8 wheels, here's a link for ya, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_26_57/products_id/211824/n/Pro-Line-Desperado-38-17mm-1-2-Offset-Wheels-Black-2 I used the stock Standard Inserts for the fact that Nothing in my arsenal would fit properly imo, I tried AKA, PL, JC and some old Standard panther inserts, In the end the Stock MONSTER standard foams felt the best. Yes they might disintegrate from use with Neals motor's and throttle finger, But Neil was insistent on not caring as we'll just get another set when the foams blow.

RE: Got a few goodies for the 8ight 2.0 for racing this next season!!! Build thread with pics!
ORIGINAL: rezac I got that figured out now. Someone on another forum told me what a good baseline would be so I am going with that. I have a bunch of pictures of the current build so far, I have a few more parts on order so I can't finish it until a bit later this week when the parts come in, I noticed a couple that I forgot to order, I figured I have this much into it already I better get some spare parts and rear aluminum hub carriers and a couple other things. It should be pretty sweet, I am debating on a different motor but it seems like everything I read about the P5 series is that they last for 20+ gallons.
Wheel extensions on a buggy ? that will cause Serious handling issues and i would suggest going back to the stock hexes or picking up some 2mm offset hexes as the one's you currently have installed are not for buggy but rather truggy.
