RedCat Racing 1/8th Backdraft 8e RTR Brushless Buggy Who Has One?
Well the redcat section doesn't have much active users maybe there is a reason who knows. But I was thinking of getting this Redcat Racing 1/8th Buggy and wanted to know from actual owners is it absolute junk? Or will throwing $300 for it actually pay off? I'll be using it for racing around a 1/10 and 1/8th track but for fun during practice no club or sanctioned races. It was called " Remote" it was a kid hiding in a attic in a new house they were bad guys 2 guys and also it had new carpet and they didn't want to get dirty so they made like things to step on lol

Yea i do that they all say 4.2 but it's still charging I'm afraid if I let it continue it will overcharge and damage my Battery.

^ no u need to plug it on and start charging then u can see how many volts are in each cell. I have a question I charge a nimh 8.4v and a lipo 3s 5000mah battery. How do I know when there fully charged. I charge the lipo till the volts are @ 12.6v and I charge the nimh till the volts are 10.5. Is this correct when the charger it's those volts it doesn't stop charging it keeps going so I stop it manually because I'm afraid Of overcharging and I have the ac6.

I had this problem went through 3 sets brand new duracell batteries to find out it was the spring contacts at the bottom of the battery holder. I cleaned then with a qtip and then I pulled them up extended them and fixed the problem.

Yea I would me bad also on that servo going Out fast but o'well. That esc should be any yo handle a 8.4v battery no problem. hard packs are more for bashing as they can take a beating over the soft packs but those work great aslong as there tightly secured.

It's wider and longer by 10mm but not As high ground clearance as the volcano.

Sounds good any chance of posting some piks or vids of it in action. Also I was on urchobby site and went to parts and yea they show 2 steering servos and 1 they sell is discontinued so I'm guessing the new rtr being sold might have the latest servos installed.
