RE: Greenflag Raceway, Hesperia, CA
I finally got a chance to drive my losi sunday and he told me it would be the 1st and 3rd sundays of the month. I havent been out since before xmas but the new layout is super smooth and the track was really nice. It is going to be alot of fun racing on the new layout. TELL YOUR FRIENDS if they have sundays free to come out and play!

Here are a couple quotes from guys "who know racing" about the JBRL race at greenflag: "Thank you Jimmy! You have a great group of racers! The green flag track was really cool too...great layout and great racing to top it off." "Green Flag raceway put on a great event and the track was really top notch. Good to see Joey back out at the races." You can see them on SGRID if you want. Dont HATE man.

LOL @ Robert. I have been racing there since THE FIRST DAY IT OPENED and I have never bent a chassis. If you could drive better and not case the triple you might not bend so many chassis'. You know that thing they call LAWN DARTING?...... you wanna NOT do that in the future. [;)] Green flag is hard on your chassis and there are rocks but its 10 minutes away so I will spend the gas money I save not having to commute on a new chassis once a season. Man some people are just HATERS!

Ya you will see guys there every weekend and they race almost every OTHER weekend there. You can bring your 1/10th no problem but most guys racing these days are 1/8th.

Awesome Dave. Cant wait. Is there a way you could post up the rules ahead of time. I personally need to know things like how many qualifiers, how long will the mains be...etc. Do you think it would be more "fair" to keep the rules the same for each week so guys will know what to expect for each race seris race? Ya we need Brain and Louie to get in on this for sure. Cummon you guys! I will try to get Jeff and Chris and my brother in law Ryan has a new truggy now too. Man this is just what we needed! Now if only we could get a dozer........ flatten the track and make a COMPLETELY new layout I would be stoked! he he[:D]

Dave I think he meant is there a discount for the second class you enter. Like if you pay 12 for your buggy entry is it any cheaper for your second entry of truggy class?

RE: Greenflag Raceway, Hesperia, CA
Robert its Jim, you and your boys should come out next sunday and anyone else you can get also. I am sure we will be able to set up a race that will not only be FUN but also one that you feel is FAIR. We dont want anyone staying away from having fun at the track FOR ANY REASON. Hopefully there will be enough guys on the same skill level show up so we can make the right classes. Thanks alot.

RE: Greenflag Raceway, Hesperia, CA
Lol Robert calm down and take a deep breath for a sec. You just posted like half an hour ago. Give it time and I am sure you will see reply's. Actaully I am glad you posted this because I can tell you FOR SURE no one wants any racers (especially new guys) to feel like they are getting cheated. Also I know POSITIVELY they dont want guys to NOT come. Rick and Dave "Volunteer" their weekends so that all of us can go out there and have fun. They dont get paid and are not professionals maybe they dont regulate the track as well as some of the bigger tracks do, but they try their best. All you have to do is go up and talk to them before hand and let them know how you are feeling. Just this past weekend there was a guy there with a truggy and it was HIS FIRST TIME EVER racing. We put him in the truggy class with the other 3 guys that were there (sportsman and experts) and he did what he could and had fun. Obviously it will be awhile before he gets "the win" but still what other choice does he have other than to "NOT COME"? I can see your point of view but maybe you need to see their side also?

RE: Greenflag Raceway, Hesperia, CA
Im not sure about buggies but I know for SURE in truggies we never have enough guys show up to have two seperate classes. So the 5 to 7 guys that show up with their truggies have to race each other no matter what class you are. Unless you want to race with like two or three guys per race which doesnt sound like fun. I know that RICK and DAVE have to run seperate classes because one of them has to run the microphone while the other one races. Neither of them is sandbagging and up until recently Super Dave put down better lap times so he races Expert (with the other 3-5 experts that show up) and Rick will race sportsman. I am sure if you just tell them who you think is too fast to race in the lower class then they will bump them up. One thing to consider though is if you race with faster guys it WILL make you faster. If you just want the win every week instead then YOU will become a sandbagger and run in the lower class. I have been going to Greenflag for a LONG time and havent really noticed what you are talking about but then again I never really paid as much attention to it as you have. The guys are just trying to have a "FUN" place for us all to go to and not a place for you to feel like your getting the shaft!

RE: Greenflag Raceway, Hesperia, CA
Mark it REALLY depends on your budget. I personally would have to recommend the Losi 8ight B. They have rtr's (ready to runs) or they have full race versions and the newest being the 8ight 2.0. But there again budget is a big part of it. GUYS I WENT BY THE TRACK TODAY AND IT LOOKS FRIGGIN GREAT!!!! Ryan,Dave,Rick and a little bit of Tony did an AWESOME job on the track today. WE HAVE JUMPS!! whooo hoooo. yaaaa hooooey......hurrrrraaaayyy!! (im really excited) Cant wait to run there now. It should be a ton more fun. IMO the changes today are what that track really needed to have done to it to be super fun. Well cant wait for next sunday to run it! Cya there.

Brian I am pretty sure its just a 3mm screw. Not sure on the length but around 1/4" should be fine. All the losi screws are american so those wont work for your servo. I have a crapload of screws that should work for you if you want to come get one or I will give you one at the track next time. HEY DESCOM WHERE ARE THE TRUGGY RESULTS!????
