RE: Super Tigre 90 problem
You may need to rotate the spray bar a little. Also run it on a engine stand for several tanks as the G90 takes a while to break in.

Just what I,ve been thinking, he so negative about every piece of advise he has been given.
ORIGINAL: Valkguy2001 I think I know who you, you refused to use a buddybox. RE: Why Is 3D Hated?
You'll find clubs that reflect the same BS you found in this thread, but there are many clubs that are nothing like this. Take the time to look and you may just find one that works for you, then again, common courtesy is getting harder to find. RE: Is Gas Engines a Fad?
I worked as a crewcheif in full scale for 25yrs. We had an old DC3 that took off every morning , flying cargo up north. She would set on the ready line farting and snorting waiting for clearance to take off with oil streaking down her wings. But when she spooled up for take off, the sound was pure heaven, No way I would ever fly electric. Tried it a few times, but made me feel like a wuss.

RE: Why Is 3D Hated?
I,ve rode for the last 40+ years and have to admit the last 10 years or so things have really changed. Now the trend is to buy a Harley and new badazz looking leather , put loud pipes on the bike and make a fashion statement. A bike run consist of hitting as many bars as one can in a 100 mile radius and as they get a few drinks under thier belt, things just get more and more out of hand. It does give us true bikers a black eye as we are all judge by the wanna be actions. The same can be said for 3D, it only takes a few to give the rest a bad rap. Common courtesy goes a long way in any sport and respect is earned not given.

I,m truly sorry my spelling of Christmas upset a few people and it has been edited to the correct spelling. I hope your holidays are awesome. Hobbypeople has the Airtronics SD-10G radio and 7 channel receiver for $439.99, regularly $703.98. A freind has one and it is a really nice radio for the money.

RE: How to pick up the crash and move on
ORIGINAL: Jackjet but what if you crash a really expensive turbine jet? That would be REALLY depressing................ Jackjet
I don't believe there is any difference. If you can afford to fly a high dollar jet, then you have the means to support it. The guy with a $300.00 dollar plane, barley making ends meet, feels just as much loss if not more. For some, $300.00 might as well be $3000.00 Getting the first crash out of the way, helped me to advance much faster by taking the edge off the fear of crashing, not to mention improving my rebuilding skills. Crashing is part of the hobby, the trick is try to make them few and far between . And if you let it get to you, it well take a lot of fun away from the hobby.

RE: Another 4*40 build.
Gary here's a pic of my second 4* with a saito .56. It has 1 bay removed on each wing and the rudder enlarged 3/8 to a 1/2 on the taper. I also went with the stock single aileron servo to keep it lite. The Saito 56 is perfect for my plane, plenty of power, sips fuel and sounds awesome without being loud. Have tried a lot of different props and for my style of flying , an APC 12x7 seems to work best. I find it hard to build in the summer, just so much other fun stuff gets in the way. lol

I don't care if you built your ARF or assembled your kit, or vise versa, what matters to me most, is how you act as a fellow RCer when you show up at the field.

RE: NW Missouri Flyers, anyone out there ?
Thanks for the info kerwin, looking forward to meeting you. I fly every chance the weather permits, unless the fish are biting. I do have floats for my Cub and LT40 so well fly some off the lake. Last time I got to fly was last Jan so I'm pretty rusty, need to hit the sim. Looks like we are going to close on the home a couple weeks early, maybe next week, hope so ,the misqutoes are out in force up here.

RE: NW Missouri Flyers, anyone out there ?
I grew up in Bethany and worked for Keith Marsh Chevy in ST Joe in the late 70's. Use to cruze the Belt and Krugg Park [think that was the name of it] Moved to Twin Cities 25 yrs ago to work for NWA/Delta and have been retired a few yrs. Lake Viking puts me in a good location for family and it's a nice place to live. Hours drive to St Joe and North K.C. I don't mind driving to a fun fly, and intend to get out and about. Thought RCU would be a good way to contact others in the area. I 've contacted one person from Gallatin so far, which is only 6 miles away. Jimmy , if you have any fun flys coming up ,please let me knowi jetmech
I grew up in St. Joseph, why would anyone move to Gallatin? St. Joseph has a club....but that is still a drive.....Try Chillicothe, Cameron, or Bethany.
