RE: Mystery Solved! How to select the proper gearing for your electric RC!
Just 1 little question. How do I know what my transmission gear ratio is (and what is a transmission gear ratio)?

Schumacher mission, good or not?
I was thinking on buying a Schumacher mission. Do you guys think that is a good idea? Is it a good chassis? I will be racing in-door, on carpet most of the times.

RE: RTR's are EVIL!
As already said; RTR's are great for beginners who want to get into the hobby without spending to much money, and need to practice there driving skills. You can always upgrade your esc and motor, they can be put in your next 'better' car. For me, buying a hop-up part is not always for making the car better, faster or stronger, I really like take everything apart, and then put it all together, and then test the car. Then if you are a better driver, you can buy a better and faster chassis, and put (almost) all the electronics in the new car.

Hi all, I'm looking for a good esc that can handle a 17T motor. It's not for official races, just for fun. I have 50 euro's to spend. Pics are appreciated.

I forgot to say that next week I have €60,- to spend. The aluminum drive shaft is good indeed, I think I'll buy that one for sure.

RE: Problem!!Don't know how long to charge my battery's
actually... I just did some quick math... Take 1500 (size of battery pack ) and Divide by 250 (charge rate) and you come up with 6 hours...... Just charge for 6 hours... as for a charger... between $50-$80US for something good....
So it doesn't really mather what kind of battery pack it is?

RE: Problem!!Don't know how long to charge my battery's
their both 1500's ....based on how slow (low rate ) the charger is about 8 hours at 250 mah is good for both... I would get a better charger that charges at 4-5 amps at has peak detection.....
So they bouth need 8 hours of charging..?[sm=surprised.gif] And how much does such a charger cost?

RE: New to R/C cars, need advise
or what yea.... do is get a NOVAK SUPER ROOSTER!!!!... (no limit esc) and run any motor u want!!!....thats the best way!!!!... cuase buy a 14 turn esc is only good down 2 13 turns (pushin' it) and if u ever wanna get like a 6,7,8,9 turn motor u can't run them with a 14 turn esc... but u can with a no limit esc... sooo ur set 4 life with a no-limit esc!!!!
I will get a no-limit esc, whenever I'm buying a new motor. For now, the 21T is fine. I have the car for 2 days now.., and only driven it 1 time, let me get used to the speedcontrol.

RE: New to R/C cars, need advise
The salesman says that my ESC goes to a maximum of 21T, so its not necessary to buy a new one for now. So the motor is ok for now, anymore tips on what to get next? Thanks, Isaaru
